WRUP: Delay until Q1 2010 edition
Sorry, folks. We know how much you like telling us what games you're going to be playing this weekend, but this feature is
now delayed until 2010. We're bringing in a couple websites to help us finish this feature at the quality standard you've come to expect -- with very few tiepos. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Definitely need to finally get Point Lookout going. However, I'm enjoying Overlord II. I can't help it. I know it's busted, but there's just a charm to it. Oh, maybe some Persona 4 if I can get in the mood.
- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): Going to spend time with Batman: Arkham Asylum. And not the demo! =D
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Finishing Prototype with a heavy heart (I'll miss it so!) and continuing the voyage through Dissidia Final Fantasy's ridiculousness.
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): I'm still chasing a handful of Mirror's Edge achievements, after beating that last weekend. I'm still finishing off Fable 2: See the Future, and digging up the last few remaining achievements in that splendorous title. I'll be playing some more Turtles in Time and, alternately, 'Splosion Man on XBLA. Perhaps, if I somehow miraculously finish off those games, I'm hoping to spend some time with Resident Evil 5 which I've ignored for far too long now.
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I've been putting my PS3's backwards compatibility to good use lately, playing Shadow of the Colossus and some God Hand. The latter is one of my favorite games, the former being a title I didn't enjoy as much as everyone else in the world. My second playthrough has been better, though I still find it incredibly sad to kill each colossus. Aside from those, I'm looking forward to random abductions in Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta DLC and finishing God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PSP (what else could I play it on?).
- Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): I'm oh so close to achieving a rank 50 in Gears of War 2, so I'll probably spend the majority of my weekend playing that. Duty calls.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): Oh, man. So many PS3 games. Oblivion, Penny Arcade Adventures 1, FFVII, Cuboid, PixelJunk Eden, The Bigs 2 -- and that's just today's selection.
- James Ransom-Wiley: The Great Outdoors! *Gulp*
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): Well, I was going to say something else, but Dave reminded me that God Hand existed. So now I'm going to be dragon kicking asses into the Milky Way (Milky Way), and dealing out apocalyptic beatdowns from the God Hand (God Hand).
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): (Discovering the joys of pan-fried reheated pizza.)
- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'm judging a film festival this weekend (www.fgff.org) and won't have too much time for gaming... except for secretly staying up all night for some Gears of War 2 DLC action and some Godfather 2 extorting.
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): I've got to start wrapping up Tales of Vesperia -- that epic quest has already taken up over 30 (delightful) hours! I also hope to finish up the multiplayer campaign in 'Splosion Man and spend some time scrutinizing WipEout HD Fury's beautiful track walls. They're in 1080p, you know.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I've almost explored every irradiated nook and cranny of Fallout 3's excellent Point Lookout DLC and want to finish that up. Then I'll tackle Mothership Zeta, before wrapping up with Broken Steel and finally putting the game back on my shelf after nearly 200 hours in the Wasteland.
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): I'll be punning through Sam & Max Save the World. Also, I'll be experiencing the brutal agony that is playing Street Fighter IV with a standard Xbox 360 controller.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): A little Batman: Arkham Asylum demo and a little Shadow Complex.
- Justin Glow (@justinglow): (Creating a Jem AI, in case we ever need one again.)
