Get this game if you haven't yet, no reason not to especially with a GOTY edition coming soon.

You just have to get adjusted to it. At times it's a bitch but easy once you can control him better. I only play this game with friends ever since I got every Story Trophy. User Created levels are insane if you find the REALLY good ones. MM always does "MM Picks" which features some of the most amazing user created levels from time to time.

it is a little floaty but they're little sacks stuffed with cotton, what would you expect?

Personally, I'd expect near flawless gameplay from a game that expect(ed) people to pay retail price for 2D platforming. But that's just me. I hope the PSP version gets a demo so I can try it out.

Yea controls are a bit floaty but that doesn't ruin what is an otherwise masterpiece of a game. I'd put it up there with Metal Gear Solid 4 with 2008 games of the year. This game is very physics oriented so the controls are designed to work with that. They could be a a bit better but don't hold off on getting it just because of that you would be missing out on something very special.

The controls are fine until you get to the later stages. Especially that pinwheel of death part, *shudders*

@343 (or is it Fart?) I think that's where I got stuck (damn vertical spinning jumps). It's a shame because the game was fun up to that point. I would still recommend it to all.

Well, hopefully this means that MM will release four MGS-esque DLC packs before this comes out.

No matter what the $30 if content is, this is a really good deal for those who have yet to purchase LBP.

looking forward to this, as my original copy has become damaged beyond repair :(

and i really can't justify paying the full 59.99 for another copy.... this should give me the incentive to start playing this again.

How did you damage a Blu-Ray disc? They're supposed to be durable!

I think Blurays are scratch resilient but they crack easier than DVDs. I haven't experienced this myself as I take great care of my blurays.

I'm handle my discs with care, but one of my games does have a tiny crack going outwards from the center. It still plays, since the crack hasn't reached the actually part that's read, but I'd rather not place it in the system often just in case. The center piece of the case seems to require a little more pressure put on it to release it compared to most of my other games. I take the games out now more cautiously than before, but i've never had this happen to any other CD or DVD in the past. Hopefully they're aware of it and will remedy this in the future (as a google search brings up a lot of complaints), but in typical Sony fashion, they'll likely pretend as if they're completely oblivious to it.

yeah, exactly that dangermouse... i called both media molecule and sony about having it replaced. won't happen.

i'm quite careful as well, then one day, it stopped working, and after careful inspection, i noticed a small hairline crack from the center of the disc....

I doubt it'll have the MGS pack, it sells too well on it's own. If anything it's just the sticker packs and first party sony custom made premium costumes like Wipe out and Locoroco. It's nice to dream though.

the thing with the mgs pack is that it has gameplay benefits, as opposed to just the numerous costumes.

You;d have to have a ridiculously powerful connection to download all of this game and have it take less than 5 hours. it's WAY too jam packed.

Well it would be a week with PSN dowload speeds. They are sooo slow. I am always dissappointed in that with my PS3 compared to my PC or 360. Of course overall the PC still smokes them both with the ablity to play at true 1080p.

Rather useful for this game, since it has been a growing experience since launch, and a more complete version would be rather compelling, and a great value

A bit presumptuous to call it "GotY" edition. Premium edition or something would sound just as good, without stretching the truth

There are plenty of games that re release under GOTY, or at least start promoting they're GOTY winners.
It's a bit presumptuous for Sir Pual MCartney to stick Sir on the front end of his name?

I saw the GOTY version of Left 4 Dead at gamestop for 60 dollars, while the regular one was 50. I guess nobody realized the Survival Pack is actually free.
