After 2K showed us some of the customization options available in BioShock 2's multiplayer for the single character thus far revealed (Jacob Norris), we were left in the dark as to how many to expect in the finished game. While we're not much closer to knowing that now, GameStop has reportedly revealed two more characters in "Zigo the Fisherman" and "Blanche the Actress," available "exclusively" through pre-order of the game via in-store ads.
Koku Gamer spotted the images on the 2K's BioShock 2 forum, where astute forumgoers point out that the images of the two characters look a lot like recently released BioShock 2 Mulitplayer Gamerpics #2 content on Xbox Live. As the game's release has been pushed back to the "first half" of 2010, we're waiting to hear more before running out to the store and dropping five Earth dollars, thank you very much.
[Thanks, Admir!]

They told me "Son, you're special, you were born to do great things." You know what? They were right.
Now, where's that golf club?

Extra items, like art books, are A-OK.
In-game items like multiplayer characters feel more like "we removed this content for everyone except Gamestop."

What's wrong with being polite? It's better than posting a bunch of misspelled swear words.

Exactly. Have some class instead of talking smack. Oh, and plus it's one of the best quotes of all time.

That guy in the pic reminds me of my bus driver I had when I was a kid. Scary crap.

This game is a watered-down pile of crap compared to System Shock 2, not to mention the copy and pasted a large portion of the story, the Atlas twist in particular.
The sequel is looking to be even worse. Bioshock is for the Halo crowd. Gamers with taste know better.

Assumptive WINterfang moron says what? I play almost every game on the 360 that I can, I have a PS3 but only LBP because the system is fail, and I have a Wii for the exclusives like Mario Galaxy. Only thing I play on PC is RTS and MMO now, or PC exclusives. Get your jump to conclusions mat and put it over a pit of spikes then give me more details about someone you know nothing about.

System Shock 2? Was that on the N-Gage or something?
Kidding. Seriously, they said eons ago before the release of the first one that it was a basically homage to System Shock. Those games are classics in their own right, but this is a modern game taking a completely different approach. You just happen to be stuck in the past.

Multiplayer in a Bioshock game...
Worst fears that this is a soulless cash-in which doesn't understand the first game whatsoever: Confirmed.
