I'm going to say it right now. BUYING Activisions crap this holiday does actually cost more than a PS3 and PSP Go combined. Meanwhile, with my limited budget going into the holidays, I'm essentially forced to look at DJ Hero and say "oh well, fuck that. I'll pick it up when stores are clearancing this out January 1st."

Activision "appears" to live in the real world, but these prices... Seriously, Activision... I would love to get DJ Hero, as it does sound fun, but damn.
Anyways, this Christmas season I'm going to be cutting the amount of games I get, and price is a HUGE reason why. Activision, you should know I'm not the only one doing this. (I'll save up for those games I just have to have...)

I remember the days it didn't cost anything to pretend to be a DJ.
We'd take the old records out of our parents collection and start scratching them on the record player. Sure, we ruined more then a couple of classics that way, but it didn't cost anyone 200 dollars.

200 bucks? You can buy yourself a Behringer USB mixer for that much and you will be able to DJ for real.... gotta be shitting me. That is like if Activision starts charging you as much for a fake plastic les paul guitar as you would be if you bought a REAL Les Paul guitar... am I missing something here?

Well, to be fair, if you'd wanna DJ for real you need more then a Behringer mixer. Vinyl costs quite a bit nowadays (unless you're going digital).
But you're right though, the price is ridiculous.

I was interested in Dj Hero but neither the 120 or 200 dollar price tag are any good.
Seems a bit to much for this kind of game when it's only 1 controller.
Like others think I'll wait for this to get marked down like all the rock band and guitar hero bundles have been months after release

Damn you Pizza Hut marketing men...I know you plant people around these sites! It would've worked too if it wasn't my brother's birthday and we were going out to dinner. P'zones are pretty good, but sometimes, for some reason, I absolutely crave a Pizza Hut pizza. Just plain cheese. I'm only about 5'9 and weigh about 140 lbs. but I can eat a large and still be hungry for more...Wonder what they put in the crust?

They should have done a different font like a graffiti tag for DJ Hero instead of recycling the Guitar Hero one. The gothic typeface works for rock and metal, but not really rap and hip hop.
Also, that pricetag blows. No way in hell I'm buying it.

I'm glad someone else has an eye for design on this site. The font looks pretty damn bad with the genre of the music in the game. I know they're probably hoping for font recognition because people will almost instantly think of Guitar Hero, but I definitely would've created a new font (more edgy, graffiti-esque, as you said) to go with this game.
