We frequently like to joke that people who show remarkable adeptness at Guitar Hero are actually robots, but as you might imagine, we don't really mean it. However, after viewing a recent video (posted after the jump) showing a young man who not only plays through Ozzy Osborne's "Mr. Crowley" on Expert, but solves two Rubik's cubes while doing so, the only logical explanation we can come to is that his deft hands and keen mind must be composed of wires, servos and cold, unfeeling steel.
By the way, if you happen to speak ill of this young automaton's abilities due to his only receiving a score of 77 percent on the song, we're going to punch you in the heart. We may even call you a "stupid jerk," depending on how much of our ire you end up evoking.

That was a boring video. It wasn't very impressive, to be honest. He only solved the cube during the long notes which he could hold, which is why he must have picked that song. All he is doing is playing with his elbow, and then solving the cube when he doesn't really need to play.

MystileArmor, maybe you should start thinking about changing your name after that tantrum of douchbaggery. Just sayin'.

I can't believe only one or so people have actually taken note that he's doing all of this through a reflection... I mean wtf.

I agree. Why doesn't this kid buy more stuff? It makes no sense. When I was a kid I got whatever I wanted. Every morning, I'd wake up, and just make a list. And, my parents' job for the day, was to go out and get me everything on it.

ok so they need to add a difficulty level where the timings are reduced to a point such that it's physically impossible for the guitar to register accurately(at least without modding the strum bar) when they beat any 3 songs on expert with 100% that ought to keep these guys busy for a while. (while fueling demand for more guitars because of the extra ones they'll break)

I actually thought that was frickin' hilarious! It looks like a neat training of the mind, and unlike those other videos out there with FCing songs, this one showed that he's at least human, pausing in the puzzle-solving during those 32nd notes.

I think solving Rubiks Cubes in generally is fucking awesome (even worth of cursing), so how could I think solving two while playing Guitar Hero isn't even cooler?
And don't get me wrong, GH has nothign to do with the coolness factor of it. He could be solving two Rubiks Cubes while making a sandwich and I'd still mark out.

Hmmm... Mythbusters, anyone?
Perhaps the video of the kid solving the cubes and "playing" was recorded backwards (ie. he's actually messing up a set of already solved cubes while randomly pushing buttons) while having the TV show a key color in the background, which is later keyed out with video of the game being played going the correct direction...
