That is what I'm afraid. I would assume they could have made just a wristband of some sort that wouldn't affect your gameplay. And so it could have been used in "normal" games.

You see, TwEE, I actually like Wii Sports Resort and Brain Age, but this sounds like the dumbest thing ever.

If they're trying to win over people that think all gaming is dumb, then they're obviously not going to put out something we like.

-but he casually mentioned the idea of "measuring how horrified a player is in a horror title" as an example of the application of the thing. -

so ummmm yea....some Wii games look GOOD...but damn if any of them I have played have drawn me in enough to be scared....now F.E.A.R. 2....that shit might have had my pulse raised a lil bit

So if you're playing a horror game or something, how are you supposed to hold onto the nunchuck and have the sensor clipped to your finger at the same time? It seems like it would be really awkward and uncomfortable.

Does the sensor even work with the nunchuk? I assumed it used the same connection slot the nunchuk did, and therefor was incompatible with it since only one could be used at a time. Am I wrong?

I've got some betablockers from when I had heartproblems last year, and I will totally rock whatever game they've got coming with those. My heartrate hovers around 55- 60 when I take that stuff.

Hi! I noticed you were trying to be clever and insightful, but your lack of grammatical accuracy takes your message and beats it with a sledgehammer.

I know it seems like a challenge, but I am sure if you put your mind to it, you'll come out on top.

Okay, let me try this. We happen to be on an internet blog. The aforementioned blog has a comment section for you to quickly write your (I DID IT) opinion on for others to see. As I usually just quickly write my comment, I don't proof-read it. By the way, nobody likes a grammar nazi.

I'm really not interested in this, but the horror idea is a good one if used properly. I can envision a on-rails horror game with an Eternal Darkness sort of mechanic. Sudden heart rate increases could cause on screen hallucinations that vary in severity based on the ammount of increase in your heart rate and dissipate as it lowers back to normal. The loss of the nunchuck/classic controller port severely limits this thing's practical usage in most games, however.

Will there be a game coming out that allows me to use the Vitality Sensor, Nunchuck, Motion Plus, and Wii Fit board all at once? Because I bought 2 of all of those........(as well as classic controllers...)

All the people who prematurely judge this only really show how premature in age they are. It could be pretty cool. Odds are against that, but it could turn out some really interesting ideas.

I'm fascinated as to what they could come up with, though i doubt i'll actually be interested in playing it.

I figured that this would be their big casual game for holiday 2010. Hopefully alongside Zelda or Other M (or both)
