I think the real questions here are:
1) can you still share the game with 5 of your friends if you buy it from Gamestop vs. the PSN?

2) are there still unlimited downloads if you accidentally delete the game from your PS3's HDD?

1. Yes
2. Yes

This is the same thing as buying it off the PSN storefront.

there was a dude (a kid I assume) asking me if he could download Fat Princes from my account. as much as I want to, I can't give away all my account info to him. if it was a real life friend who has a PS3 asking to download my DL games would had been another story.

What's the point of making a retail package without the disk? That'd be like buying a pizza but, instead of the pizza being inside the box, it just includes instructions on how to make your own.

nostalgia. It was good in its time but its not really relevant in terms of tournament play. Rather not as big. most have moved on to SF4, KOF12, blazeblue and tekken 6. I don't think anyone on here is buying it to complete at top level as they would already own it if they did so its just the rest of us the loved it when we had it.

This is a pretty good idea. I think that this method of using vouchers should continue to grow but i am anxiously waiting for its PS2 version and i am damn sure it would be very cheap in refurbish condition.............

I'll probably buy this over the PSN version as it comes with a few extras like an instruction booklet plus capcom unity points. I owned the original version for PS2 and paid about $40 for it a few years ago like in 2005.
