Too true. Some of my favorite games on the SNES were the super star wars series. Fun, but difficult and frustrating at times. Nice to see the games being re-released of some sorts, even though i don't have a wii.

I kept my SNES primarily for these 3 games and Contra III. Oh man, those games are so great.

Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back was my favorite.

Could watch them movies worth a damn, until I played these games.

Then I'd be wactching them going "Oh, I remember this part from the game!" Good times.

Ah, battletoads. I played the first few levels of that game a thousand times, but rarely got further than 4 or five. It was so frustrating, but as a kid I loved that game.

Was that directed at me or the original poster? Because just to make clear I was being sarcastic, don't want any confusion on that. Sarcasm over the internet is hard.

Anyone get the feeling that Nyxquest got it's name changed because Nintendo didn't want anyone thinking it was a sequel to Kid Icarus.

It might be the other way around. Character recognition is vital to sales after all, and even though piggybacking off Kid Icarus would get them some points for this game, it will help in the long run to go with a name that's more identifiable.

Wow, good games all around for once this week. Good job for once, NOA.

Of course, one VC game/week still blows ass, but Super Star Wars still is quite awesome.

Yeah, Would it really be that hard to release three at once? I mean they can't take up that much space.

I hated/loved the Super Star Wars games so much.

So accurate (for the time) to the canon, but bitch ass controls, and a hard AI whooped my ass every game-thru.

SNES, how I loved you.

This was a nice surprise this morning, I never thought we'd get the SNES games. This series is the reason I still have my SNES hooked up to a TV. I'd love to find out how this game came to be released on the VC.

Does this mean we'll finally get Zombies Ate My Neighbors? That was made by Lucas Arts... It's one of the greatest games of all time, and one of only two games I want that Ninty hasn't put on the VC yet (I'm looking at you DK64!)

As for super star wars, there's so much in that game that has no relation to the movies it isn't even funny. I was playing it the other day and couldn't make an impossible jump inside the sandcrawler. But i guess it was entertaining enough for me to play as a kid, so what ever...

Surprised it took NOA so long to release NyxQuest. NOE has had it since June. I would highly recommend it. For 1000 points, it's a good platformer that has a fair difficulty level. The graphics are good for a WiiWare game, though the levels are all very sandy as expected.

A fun game and worth checking out, especially if you liked LostWinds (NyxQuest is a slightly longer game, clocking in at around 5 hours of gameplay).

Super Return of the Jedi is by far my most favourite SNES Game! The first and the second one are also ok, but Return of the Jedi is still one of the best 2D-action games available! And it will probably stay one of the best 2D-action games because they don't make those anymore...
(besides the Castlevania on GBA/NDS)

Just played the first level of NyxQuest. Seems like a decent game although the platforming seems a little "floaty".
