We got an email not to long ago claiming that it was impossible to get all four hosts of the Fancast nowadays. Given the fact that we are once again short one member (Xav) this week, we're starting to agree. Whether it's some sort of curse that has been placed upon us or simple bad timing, who's to say?
Apart from our missing cohort, we discuss a bevy of interesting topics this week, including the possible phasing out of the 360 Pro console and a surefire way to make Alexander hate you during a match of Battlefield 1943. All this an more lies before you in this, the 129th episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast. Download it!

Richard,
Small tip on soldering.
Heat up the wire with the soldering iron and then touch the filler with the wire instead of the other way.
It'll make you life a lot less messy.
Oh and older Xbox controller (bigger connectors) is a lot easier to work with than newer ones (microscopic connectors, probably a lot cheaper to make).

Professor Mitchell has not an easy job with the childish arguments between Alexander aka "Halo gamers are stupid teenagers" and Dustin aka "I am more popular than you among the XBF listeners and you should get kicked of the show".
I guess everybody needs vacation.

I'm a fan of your show and all, but the whining about the netflicks integration reminded me of this video which i think you need to watch: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2482008/louis_ck_with_conan_oct_2_2008/
