Capcom offers up $40 Platinum Hits Triple Pack for Xbox 360

If your gaming time has been sorely missing some Capcom TLC, then know the company is set to offer up a few of its older titles in one Xbox 360 package. Starting September 8, gamers can snatch up Capcom's Platinum Hits Triple Pack, which is pretty much just that: A package containing Dead Rising; Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition; and Devil May Cry 4.

It's all well and good to try and introduce gamers to some of your almost-classics, but we think Capcom seriously missed a chance to get some Bionic Commandos out there into the world. Yes, we get it's a Platinum Hits bundle, but what could you possibly be doing with all those discs, Capcom? Building a fort in the break room?

I haven't played Dead Rising, but those other two are great single-player experiences. Also, Dead Rising and Lost Planet are both about to get sequels so this is a smart move by capcom.

Dude, get yourself some Dead Rising NOW! I rented it about a year ago out of curiosity for a gaming night with my brother, never had heard of it before (well, it's illegal, yes illegal, to sell or advertise this game in my country). We played through the whole game in that night. Such an awesome little game. I imported the none-classic edition (Yeah!) later from the UK and I still enjoy playing it.

Dead Rising was good, but I couldn't get past the arbitrary time limit. I hate the feeling of being on a clock when playing a game. I felt similarly regarding Lost Planet.

I had a lot of fun with all three of those games. This is a great package for those who do not own them yet.

lost planet deserves a second chance but DMC is finished. my god, 4 was awful.

2 was worse, be grateful.

Maybe I should sell the copies I already own to take advantage of this FANtastic deal. That way, it's like getting a 3 brand new games all over again!

I've been needing these games for a while, especially Dead Rising, so I guess I'll pick it up come September 8th.

Makes you wonder if the Games on Demands will match the price of this hard copy of the games.

Devil May Cry 4 is pretty mediocre... I would've liked to have had an incentive to try out Bionic Commando.

Horrible photoshop work by whomever handled that picture to go with the article.

Decent pen tool work though.

Was it really necessary to put that comment about BC into this kind of post? Sure, their latest game didn't sell so well after release, but the snarkiness is overabundant...

I've played DMC4 (wasn't fond of it) and Lost Planet (the controls are impossibly clunky), so I think I'll pass.

Better deal than buying all three used together... and I have missed out on all three of em'...

I know this is off topic but... they have big daddy dolls and helmets in the avatar market! and other new stuff too.

this is a great deal to me, hope this is released in the UK or AT, then I could import it to Killerspielland.

Wow, good deal! Granted, all three of those games kinda sucked in retrospect (I'd give em all 7s,) but are totally worth it for $40.

You grade pretty hard there fishy.

That's why the modifier *kinda* was in there. These would be in the 7.5-7.9 range. Good, but with serious control/camera/balancing/saving/asset-repurposing/retarded storytelling issues, depending on the game, that keep them from being great.

That said, I paid full price for all three and played each all the way through.

I saw the sucked and zeroed in on that. I guess I'm just more glass is half full kind of guy, and with a 7 rating, would have called them out as average (as opposed to kinda sucking). Just having a little fun with you.

This is a great deal, lost planet and dead rising are great games. to anyone who hasent tried or doesnt own the 3 games its well worth picking up.

i'll definitely being picking this up. good value right there. i've been meaning to play all three of those games.

Well I'm fucking down. I actually haven't played any of these, and they've always been on my 'sort of want to play' list. For that price? Sold.

I own Lost Planet and I think it's an OK game, Devil May Cry 4 looks good, and Dead Rising is a really fun game actually. All those games are short but if they are cheap I wil give them a try.

I just bought the Bioshock Oblivion bundle, that is a really good deal.

Now give me Zack and Wiki, No More Heroes, and Okami.

I might need to pick this up for DR and DMC4. Is Lost Planet a good game? I don't know much about that one.

I have owned them all.but was cheated out of them by Gamestop!i would buy the bundel just to get all 1000 gamerscore.the NXE2.0 has a blade with all my games that I have 1000 gamerscore on a.k.a(you have no life by this many points blade)

Oooh, I was thinking about buying Dead Rising, but I might just get this instead!

Hopefully I can catch this on sale for 30. I've been wanting to play these. I don't care much for Dead Rising but think its worth 10.

I will be buying this; this is an effing steal.
