There's actually no reasoning for it, other than he has a beard. And I like the West Wing.

Reality has a funny way of not matching your dreams.
I dreamt of landing a hardcore girl gamer, then i fell for one. Sadly 90% of them are completely batshit insane, and have a constant cloud of desperate geek "friends" all trying to get in their pants too.
Now i prefer dumb feminine girls, who only like kittens, and think a Wii is silly.
Much easier. Your mileage may vary.

I think I got the next best thing.
My fiance isn't that much of a gamer,
but,
she does accept that I am, and
is (somewhat) interested in my games
and even gets me games and accesories.

Easier said than done. I'm 20 and trying to train my 10-year-old sister to become a gaming goddess and she simply does not have the attention span or the reaction time I require.

Whether it be with Super Mario 64, Zelda:OOT, or Kingdom Hearts, every 5 minutes she asks "Where do I go now?" It's so infuriating!

2 years in training and she has yet to finish a game, so I currently have her playing Guitar Hero to hone her Reactions/Hand-Eye co-ordination

Better than nothing, of course.

whenever I hear Justin talk about wailing on my pecs, all I can think about is that episode of Home Movies where all Coach McGuirk does is pec workouts until they explode.

In fact, I demand someone photochop Justins head onto an image of Coach McGuirk from that episode

This 'quarantine' look you speak of is called 'cleanliness'.

Many of us gamers are unfamiliar with this concept. I know I was until a year or two back. It involves vacuuming, dusting, and picking up things. And no, this isn't some new Cleaning Mama video game that I'm talking about!

No need to thank me for explaining that. Just doing my job as a Planeteer!

I saw a guy with a really nice rack last Sunday, albeit kind of creepy.

But by far the worst part about this is, I didn't make this up...

And the fact that I should do a much better job at cleaning my place is humorous and ironic.

Though I do agree with you about the Wii thing. It's like they are all done in a showroom of a furniture store.

I find EA ACTIVE a great program but some words of caution--the advice the trainers give pertaining to nutrition and lifestyle are VERY general and a more detailed survey may have been appreciated. Also, the "30 day challenge" seems to be geared towards people who don't already make exercise a part of their lives; I find it gets in the way of my marathon training. The resistance exercises are good but if you have hand-eye coordination issues it can be difficult to do such exercises properly and that can lead to injury. The trophies, however, are fun to earn. In my opinion it is best to let this program work for you and not the other way around.

Hey I play it and I think it's great. But the resistance band is mega flimsy and broke off. Am using arm weights to replace for the time being.
