Solid savings on Metal Gear Solid Touch

We appreciate the low-key advertising of this deal. Konami just sent over a press release, telling us what the new price would be and when it would be active. Were it up to Hideo Kojima, we'd all be deciphering runes on a countdown site right now, and everyone would be crushed when it turned out not to be Metal Gear Solid 5.

I played the lite version and thought it was pretty decent for what it is. Will definitely pick up the full for that price.

Fuck the haters, this game is a fun time-killer. Even more so if you're an MGS fan. Easily worth $3.

Is it wrong that I've played more of this version of MGS4 than the actual MGS4 for the PS3?
I guess opening the packaging would be a start.

you can't play MGS4 on your iphone there bud. you need a ps3 for that one :P

I would definitely start opening that packaging there bud... It's an absolutely fantastic game. I got it during a sale at my local Radio Shack for $20 and feel like I robbed the publishers and creators.

I'm guessing you won't be waiting too long. I bet it'll rise in the ranks to the Top 100 again, and when it starts to stall in the Top 100 (maybe around 50 or so) , they'll lower it to $1 to try to shoot it towards the top again. They know a lot of iDevice owners are like you and will buy a pretty well received game for a lower price after it's been a while. It's a good way to sell more copies of a bottomed out product. I bought it at full price and found it somewhat enjoyable but not worth what I paid. I don't wait until every game hits $1 (I buy some games on release or wait for certain sales) but I definitely love getting fantastic, addicting, and well made iPhone games for $1 (who DOESN'T love a good deal?)
