Hell, I'd go as far as to say I'm picking up this title to support her efforts as a producer of new IP's. I bought the first one. As repetitive as it was.. it was something new. I hope this one is a stronger outting. In any case.. I support MORE women in the industry. Women liking video games is an awesome thing!!!! I wish I knew more. Then I wouldn't have to explain why I like to spend hours playing them.

What, no ability to invest in those "fan-dangled flying machines" and cash-in on the benefits when Assassin's Creed 5 - Modern Assassination reads my save file? Disappointing

Modern Assassination is already filled by Hitman.

What would be even better, is if you pick pocketed for gold, then bought weapons and stored them in a safe house sort of place...
Then before every assassination you could pick the weapon you wanted... but if it broke, or you had to ditch it to make a quick get away, you would have to by another to put back in your safe house.

I wonder if there will be any type of housing crisis built into the game...

Still not psyched about this game. Taking developmental growth away from the level designers sounds good in theory, but could easily ef'up the dif'curve.

meh, still not psyched about this game. Then again, I really hated the first game. So that isn't really surprising.

You know I really liked the concept of the first title but couldn't get into the game mainly because of the cumbersome controls and techno theme with the whole time machine angle. But, for some reason everything that I have seen about the second iteration has me super pumped up and excited. The stealth genre is my favorite even though the games are few and far between. I'm not like completely sold on the game just yet but I am more interested in AC2 than I am MW2 at this point in time.

Don't get me wrong, I respect several of the design concepts tested in AC1... I just didn't find the game satisfying.

The simplest reason I can give is "for a game that was sold as an open world / play how you want experience, I found it very linear, restrictive and hand holding with its invasive 'tell me how to play the game' instructions."

My concern is more that Ubisoft hasn't identified my frustrations as actual problems and will pump out a bigger, more robust game containing all the same issues.

Worse, because so many reviewers loved the first game, I'm not sure I will know whether or not I will be able to tell before shelling out 60$ for the game...

Wait, the pic of his arm shows that he has all of his fingers, but before AC1 came out, they said that he had to cut off hist ring finger because the blade would slice it off??? I'm confused?

It can't be based on the time period. The girl also had her finger chopped off, proving to you that she was once an assassin too.

maybe they invented lazers that could only be retro fitted as fingers after da vinci figured out how to put blades without cutting off fingers?
DUH.

Well, it looks like Ezio was never initiated into the assassins the Altair was in.

Also, if Ezio runs out of money, do they get a bailout?

I love how they treat buying weapons as some kind of new innovation. I will not congratulate you on that, nor will I consider this game an improvement just because you can buy weapons.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Economy system? It's just buying weapons and armor!
