EA has released some new Command & Conquer 4 screens, which, while bearing a passing resemblance to previous titles in the venerable real-time strategy series, do offer a few glimpses at the gameplay changes EA has in store (like persistent player progression). Just try not to be bummed about the severe lack of Kane in today's Command & Conquer 4 post, okay?Reader Comments (13)

Ah, the good old days of massive 4 legged death walkers equipped with rail cannons. How I've missed them.
(By the way, I've never seen the big deal when it comes to your planet being covered by a perfect renewable resource.)

*sigh* Ever since EA took over Westwood the series has gone downhill. Not saying what EA did was bad because as a RTS I did enjoy C&C3 and RA3. What I didn't like was how they treated the story and game as a continuation in the series, and the general feel of the game wasn't like the originals as much... Now this is just branding more then a actual sequel :(
