It's been a long time since Monolith Productions unleashed FEAR 2: Project Origin on the world. Seven months after release, the game is experiencing a rebirth of sorts, through an upcoming single-player expansion and brand new multiplayer update. "Slow-Mo Deathmatch," a staple of the first game, is finally coming to FEAR 2 through a free update that will be available on September 3rd. Free? A price like that is certainly going to make us revisit the game.
In addition to toiling on the various FEAR 2 updates, Monolith has created this hilarious and thematically-inappropriate trailer for the update. Watch as the magic of "SCIENCE" explains the process behind this DLC.
They packed like 6 maybe 7 maps into this game. Their lack of effort in the multiplayer portion of this game was disappointing, especially considering it had that old-school feel to it.
If anyone was wondering the single player campaign will have 4 new missions which I would assume means for smaller things not 4 chapter esque deals and you play as one of the replica soldiers being sorta controlled by Alma.
Ahh, takes me back to the days when I was messing around with slow-mo in Perfect Dark. It made my reenactment of the lobby scene from The Matrix that much more awesome.

I gotta hand it to the Monolith guys, they know how to make hilarious videos.
The only thing that might be better than this, is the Ostrich Hammer Developer Diary from Volition...might be.

Over a certain size you have to charge. This is probably a small sized update.

That video made my day now that they should implement the hardcore mode in the console versions F.E.A.R 2 is ultra boring even on the hardest setting.
