"if W@W was so good then there would still be MILLIONS of people that Play CoD4 still....it being the EXACT same is whats wrong with it...no innovation...."
That doesnt make sense, people still do play CoD4 so what the fuck does that have with anything? Im also loling that you think WaW had no innovation but act like MW2. And Treyarch doesnt = Infinity Ward, but the CoD 4 engine with WW2 weapons and jungle is pretty much the same fucking thing.

Actually if you would bother to compare the graphics of World at War and COD 4 you would see that the graphics are NOT the same. There is a pretty big difference. COD 4 looks a whole lot cleaner. World at War looks dirty and blurry. And they don't use the EXACT same engine. IW gave them (Treyarch) an incomplete engine so they had to code some stuff on their own. Which I'm glad they did. Because IW has the better game. At least for me, World at War would not really be fun if it had no dismemberment. Thats the only really fun thing about WaW. The dismemberment. But COD 4 is more fun and it doesn't even have dismemberment. I don't know how its more fun but it is. And I played through most of WaW's campaign and some multiplayer so its not like I've never played it. COD 4 is just a better game all around.

i didnt find CoD 4 to be clear, it just looked plasticy to me, especially grass and trees which WaW did loads better. I guess it's to each his own, but they're still way too similar for one to suck but not the other. I for one prefer WaW because faux excitement from a real better is more fun than not even faux excitement from a fake one, and i find the WW2 weapons make things more even

Madden will never be outsold, there are a lot of people who only buy 2 games a year now (Bros), Call of Duty and Madden. I hate those type of gamers. They are the ones who if u dont have any of those will say things like " dude why u playin that gay shit, lets play Madden" or " YO! I gots that new Call of Duty!!!"

and why not may i ask? the multiplayer is just like COD4's multi, except bigger maps and 97% of all players are scrubs. it's insanely fun to just kill them over and over and watch them rage quit the match.

Nope, it's international. However, only the NPD numbers are what matters - so, order from a retailer that NPD counts!

aggie 6 billion people live in this world and what 10+ million have XBL gold out of that....?

whats your point if 1 developer doesn't have XBL ? when most of the world does not either.

what do you say about the BILLIONS of people that feel the ps3 and xbox are overpriced and only rich people have them now ?

remember most ps3 console sales are still waiting to happen over the next few years when the grand ole' $ 199.00 price tag starts rolling out, and most xbox sales will happen when the arcade is $ 99 and the 360 is $ 200 or so.....

everything is overpriced at some point in time, for some reason..

what do you say about OUR parents which may have bought $ 10,000 computers that were so much less powerful than todays $ 1,000 computer ?

you could really say this about anything in life...

@sk8monroe81: dude, what are you talking about? This is the lead designer at ravensoft, not some random guy. He is actively involved right now is designing a game that will run on xbox live, but he doesn't even feel it worthwhile to buy a subscription himself, even though he undoubtedly can afford £40 a year. What does that say about the amount of effort he's going to dedicate to wolfenstein's online play? Nothing good that's for sure.

lov3- honestly i call something a crock...

1) how would the lead developer of a game who is interested in playing the demo, not going to know that it is available on the ps3 also ?

that says a lot about the guy already. I think he doesn't really even play the games that much.

if you play on the 360 much and have the money he has you would have XBL (heck it would be a deductible expense for the business)
if you play on the ps3 and are the lead developer of your own game you might know if it was available on PSN also.

twitter is a new marketing place for celebrities and business alike now.
the only place I really hear about twitter is on TV and online.

It's not bad once you get used to it. It's microblogging. Send short messages and keep in touch with friends and even celebrities/companies.

There are actually specialty insurance plans you can buy to cover these types of marketing ploys (I'm assuming they took one of these out, their legal department would have mandated it before approving this). It's basically gambling on the insurance companies part. The calculate rought percentage odds of this actually happening and figure out a rate based on that.

There have have been sports promotions before where a store will say: "If team A shuts out team B, everyone who bought a big screen tv the week before gets it free!" Similar type of insurance plan applies. That exact promotion (the TV one) actually happened during a Chiefs/Chargers game a few years ago in Kansas City. The store gave basically gave away about $2 million in TVs, but the insurance plan only cost like $50,000 because of the severe unlikelihood of a shutout during that game. I don't know that those numbers are accurate, but it was somethign like that.

@Courtney: Wow, that's amazing! I have never heard of such a thing. Great deal for them, since it means selling more copies and even if they do sell enough to keep their end of the deal, the insurance will pay.
