giNger is trying to make a racist comment based on the stereotype that all black people will buy Madden because all black people love football. I think what he is forgetting is that other people enjoy Madden, too, and NOT all black people give a crap about the game.

aggie, seriously, WaW is the EXACT SAME as COD4. and taco, that makes sense. COD4 and WaW are played in completely different ways even though they're damn near the same. it's fine if you just like how COD4 plays.

if W@W was so good then there would still be MILLIONS of people that Play CoD4 still....it being the EXACT same is whats wrong with it...no innovation....

if everything innovated, then technically nothing would be innovating. the COD4 formula was perfect, so why change it so soon?

its just a matter of perspective I suppose. I mean Madden adds just a LITTLE bit year over year for the most part and people Rag on it for it being the same thing every year....

the difference is that madden comes out every year, with minor changes. i wouldn't call the changes between COD4 and COD:WaW minor. nazi zombies, WAY bigger maps, tanks, squads, and the biggest change of all, a world war 2 setting.

Wolfenstein is finally making a comeback, this game kinda looks a bit far out there for me

I have a burning hatred for CoD 4 & WaW's multiplayer. It's insanely easy to get kills and isn't fun. At least WaW had a good campaign and zombies.

That's what I was thinking, xgarryx. What if this guy is just making a joke, knowing Madden will outsell Wolfenstein 5:1, but this word gets out to so many gamers that it outsells Madden, makes millions, but then has to pay it all back to the gamers... lol

Hell, everybody who owns a 360/PS3, whether you heard of Wolfenstein or not, should dish out $60 bucks just to get it now... 'cuz later chances would be you could get it for free in the long run.

Whoa, whoa, whoa people, don't put words into his mouth. He never said all black people who own a console will buy Madden. Perhaps he was just commenting on the number of people who would buy Wolfenstein. Look at the numbers:

According to vgchartz.com, 59.97 current gen consoles are owned in the US.

And, According to the US census bureau, in 2007 12.8% of the US population was black (most recent numbers available).

So, ignoring for the moment socio-economic stereotypes, we can estimate that of the 59.97 million consoles in the US, 7.676 million are owned by black people.

Of course, many people own more than one current gen console -- so let's be liberal and say on average everyone owns 2 current gen consoles. That still leaves 3.838 million black people who own at least one console.

Thus, all we can be sure gINger is saying is that he doesn't think Wolfenstein will sell more than 3.838 copies -- with which I agree. You racist pricks :)

in COD4, the skill level of players is more balanced since it's mostly the hardcore players who are still playing it. in WaW, like i said, 97% of all players are scrubs. so it's way easier to get kills if you're halfway decent.

good in COD4: 1.05+ kill/death ratio
good in COD:WaW: 1.30+ kill/death ratio

Aggie, treyarch=/= infinity ward but the CoD 4 engine = CoD 4 engine. WaW is the exact same fucking thing, same mechanics, same graphics, same everything except weapons and Japanese people!

While I do agree that a large percentage of Black gamers buy Madden, I have to tell you that "every" is an insult. I have not purchased Madden since 2001, and I am not ashamed.

I know more people of other ethnicity that buy EA sports titles much more frequently than me...you jerk.

i agree with nathan, CoD seems to be more about turning corners and spamming the trigger faster than the other guy, more so than something like CS even. It was fun for awhile but then i jsut grew to hate it

I do want to point out that giNger's name is an anagram of a rather distasteful term used to describe black people. The capital N could make one suspect that it it's a purposeful anagram to hide his racism in his name.

also the level 55 cod4 players dont want to jump on cod:WAW as a low level against the other players and lose more often.

it would deflate their ego....

i don't get how these people can still be playing cod4 2 years later...

but im a low level on cod4, and did not play online every day in late 07-08.

i didn't forget. i just declined to mention it. the other changes i mentioned were a lot bigger than the dogs.
