TimeGate Studios has
announced that the
Section 8 open PC beta for North America, Europe and Australia is now ... open. The beta grants users with access to two of the game's multiplayer maps and offers up "a variety of some of the vehicles, weapons, deployables, missions, and equipment." The beta is free, and all that's needed to get fragging is a Fileplanet, IGN or GameSpy account. To sign up, simply visit
this link and fill out a few forms. You'll then be given a CD-Key and access to download the beta. The beta is on a first come, first serve basis, so
hop to it if you want in.

- OS: Windows Vista SP1 / Windows XP SP3
- Processor: Pentium 4 3Ghz or higher
- RAM: 1GB XP, 2GB Vista
- Memory: 6 GB free hard drive space

No one really knew that until this game surfaced.
Section 8, which is low income housing subsidized by the Government, is what most people associate with the term.
Another title for this game should've been used.

i dont really have a gaming PC but my laptop handles these games just fine, i recently downloaded the arkham asylum demo and it ran smoothly, and i play online games on my laptop. What's your OS?

This game sucks. I have the beta and its just a UT3 mod, a shitty on at that. this game shouda have been a free mod. it sucks.

i dont think the game sucks but i did not like it. I played in the closed beta and its mediocre at best. Its a BF style game play and I just dont care for games like that.
