PSN Thursday: Marvel hugs Capcom 2

There's too much violence in this week's PSN Thursday, so we've nerfed where necessary. For example, in the above image: that's Spider-Man giving Ryu a knuckle kiss, while Wolverine does an airplane impression and Iron Man practices The Supremes' "Stop in the Name of Love." There's a lot of add-on content in this update for LittleBigPlanet, PAIN, Cross Edge and Dynasty Warriors 6, as well. There's not much else ... oh wait, there's a theme for Lingerie Football League. I had a weird glitch when fighting the last form of abyss where it reset my position after the fight started

Dude create a uk sub-acct. 2 minutes. I have US, UK, HK, JPN & AUS. Why people cry about no demo here or there is beyond me...

As someone who also has a UK account (I made it so I could get The Darkness demo), I nonetheless find it a pain to have to check multiple stores every week in order to make sure I get everything, so I can see why one would complain.

But, yeah, it's not as big a deal as for paid content.

You'd think so, but you'd be wrong.

EA is milking the franchise EVEN MORE.

that's seriously bull... i was actually possibly considering the elite mode because it would give me some challenging opponents, but now that's not even in the dlc lineup and they stick us with this garbage. I'm really reconsidering to not buy this now.

Still EA isn't bad as Activision. Satan himself runs Activision, so that's pretty hard to top.

*correction* after looking further into this, I discovered that the dlc was just misleading and madden 10 will be packaged with a code that unlocks the online franchise mode. Still, I'm not quite sure why they're charging ten bucks just to prevent piracy even though the feature should already be on the disc. I don't know just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Unless they're just trying to squeeze a few dollars out of people who buy used games.

It's for people that buy the game used. It's to incentivize purchasing the game new at retail instead of used. Epic Games did something similar with Gears Of War 2 as it came with a map pack code you only got when buying new and was $10 on XBLA when the title launched.

Was hoping for Reshelled. Maybe next week?

Your english is coming along very well. Just a few corrections. "there are" (for multiple subjects) and "thank God for..". Other than that you seem to have it solid. (better than most where english is their only language).

I'm some what put off on getting MvC2 now....heard that they are allowing you to pick three of the same characters online...that sh!t is bananas o_O. Meh...who am I kidding, I am gonna download that as soon as I get home.

Thats some heavy DLC for Disgaea 2....

No Trine?

A demo? Isn't that (awful) demo already on the PSN, or is this a different one? Maybe one that is actually playable if you don't have a second controller and someone to use it?

Its the same with different characters.

God forbid they do it right.

As much as Sony is pushing the upcoming PSP digital downloads I have to say that weekly releases for PSP on PSN really suck. How about Sony kicking Squenix in the butt and get Xenogears, Final Fantasy and the Dragon Warrior games out for the US? Give me something I'd actually want to play! I could care less about all the music DLC. So, LESS DLC and MORE games!

Trine's on sale on Steam right now, I've been resisting the temptation to get it on PC rather than wait for the PSN release.

Finally I get to download Marvel vs Capcom 2.

I was avoiding it on the 360 because of the atrocious D-pad.

If you're going to correct his grammar, at least change "forgot" to "forget"...

Plus, not all of us are religious... So the capitalization of "god" can be ambiguous.

bought it, tried to play it online, 'tis broke. crashes the ps3.

Nothing that interest me this week in the slightest bit. This includes buying Madden in store tonight at midnight. I was pretty pumped when I got to try it out today at my local Best Buy and was pretty impressed with the game. However, after seeing the onslaught of questionable DLC features I have decided to pass on the title all together for the time being. The game felt so smooth and so much better than any other iteration and even the interface felt smoother in comparison. I'll just have to wait and pick up a discounted copy around the holidays.

You seem to like Madden 10 as much as I liked Madden 2005. I still believe its the cream of the Madden crop.

and so far 2005 WAS the best

i downloaded mvc2 but i cant play it. it shows that i downloaded mvc2 full game unlock, but i cant play the game. how do i play the game.

you have to download the demo. You purchased the code to unlock the demo and turn it into the full game, download the demo and it'll be the full game.

Must be a pretty bad bug. I was really expecting it to be here today. : (

Looks like Ryu caught that one in the balls.
