Rumor: Full setlist for The Beatles: Rock Band confirmed

The contents of the 45-song setlist for The Beatles: Rock Band have been pieced together from various sources (trailers, articles, interviews) over the past several months, but it now appears that the lineup is finalized (and the early, unofficial ones were spot-on). The latest issue of Game Informer contains a cover feature on the game, in which the mag lays out the full, official song listing, this according to a Joystiq tipster.

We haven't seen the issue itself in the ~~flesh~~ paper stock, but the listing jibes with with the otherwise unconfirmed, piecemeal ones we've already seen online. We've placed the full list after the break for your perusal (and comments, since we're sure it's not going to please every Beatles fan). Agree dude, let it be and hey jude was place in the top ten in 500 greatest songs of all time from rolling stone mag.

No "Hey Jude" is a kick in the no-no place, but Let it Be is ALL piano and vocals. Ringo might be hitting his drums every so often, but there's NO guitar and VERY little percussion... as awesome as it is, it doesn't fit on Rock Band, at least not for launch. Make it a title that people can choose to download, I say.

I don't think they had the rights to Hey Jude.. That song is one of hundreds owned by the Michael Jackson estate.

Harmonix has stated that Michael Jackson's death had no effect on the game, and they've already dealt with his estate over liscencing Beatles songs

And seriously guys... They can't put EVERY single in the game. Look at the list - how is that setlist in any way, shape or form bad? Nearly every Beatles song is brilliant, so you can't make everyone happy I guess

I can't wait for the Sitar peripheral when they release Norwegian Wood as DLC

No "Strawberry Fields" either... yeap here comes the DLC.

"Let it Be" might be better for this game than "Hey Jude," seeing as "Jude" is pretty thin on guitar.

The lack of Happiness is a Warm Gun is disappointing. Great list though, can't wait to play it.

Yeah, that's my favorite song from the Beatles, actually. I was very upset when I didn't see it in the game.

Now I can almost forgive the occlusion of "A Day in the Life" & "In My Life" but theres always DLC to rinse me completely dry..

This game looks great. Gonna pre-order it soon so I can get the bonus 3 songs.

Let It Be seems like the best choice to end the game, that or Free As A Bird =)

@Mike -- You can't count Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows as 2 songs...they took the beat of Tomorrow Never Knows and the lyrics of Within You Without You and made a new song for the Love show. Its fucking superb!!!

It would have to be something pretty big for it to be a worthwhile surprise. I'm guessing it's Hey Jude or Let it Be.
