I don't think HVS is above working with awful licenses. They did do a game based on White Men Can't Jump after all.

@gobopop

Seriously man, how about you stop hating on a development team that has globs more talent in their respective fields than you'll ever acheive in any capacity in your time.

Don't talk shit about any of their games until you involve yourself in one that trumps it.

@cody:

While I get tired of people who think their opinions and likes are the Truth, I think you have to call things for what they are. HVS might have had to do what it had to survive and make money, but for whatever reason, they did create some crappy games. And I don't have to be a game dev to criticize them.

WTF? I didn't comment on the quality of any of their games or the talent of the studio, did I?

Whether the game is good or not (I never once stated one or the other), it is a fact that High Voltage Software made a video game based on the movie "White Men Can't Jump." If that isn't one of the most obscure licenses to translate into video games, I don't know what is. Plus, I actually LIKED The Conduit, so stop misinterpreting and making wild assumptions about my post - Save it for tmac.

And you wonder why people post photoshopped images of you... Grow up.

Secret Saturdays to me sounds like an Oprah book of the month about growing up in a household with a creepy kid toucher uncle.

No. While the screen shot looks like something out of the Cave of Wonders level, do not confuse that gem of a game with this...whatever this is.

Just imagine what High Voltage would be capable of if they weren't constantly working on like ten games at a time. Maybe they'd be able to do better than "pretty good."

Oh high voltage, you guys are such a mess right now.

This is definitely not how you go about changing people's opinions about you. Oh well, add 1 more bad game to their resume.

I didn't think Secret Saturdays was popular enough to get a game. I like that show, but it certainly doesn't have mass appeal

"The good one, not the new one?" Really? I seem to recall Joystiq giving the new one a generally positive review. :\
