Not to say that I dislike the idea of the Investigations spinoff, but I do hope they make a new game for the main series soon. I'm itching to get back into the courtroom, be it as Phoenix, Apollo or someone new.

And the DS just seems like the natural fit for the games, so I'm glad they're sticking with it.

I loved the Pheonix Wright trilogy, am just starting Apollo .. bit of a disappointment switching characters, and I hope for a lot of the old cast shows up (trial 1 keeps hope alive for that).

I'll definitely be checking out the Edgeworth game.. and hopefully future titles in line with the main series :)

Old characters do indeed reappear in Apollo, and there's also a lot of stuff related to Phoenix in the story.

I would absolutely love if Capcom sold a Snackoo-branded... snack.

As I was going to click on the article, all I could think in my head was the "quiet, it's snack time. MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH" line with the "MUNCH" noise in my head. +1 from me, good sir, I haven't actually LOL'd in such a long time that I didn't think I could anymore.

I just hope they rethink about using "Eureka" for Edgeworth. I mean come on.

@bearmedal: Not Eureka. Really, when was the last time you hear somebody says "Eureka"? Imagine hearing that multiple times throughout the game.
Did the Japanese version say "Eureka"?

I can't wait for some more Ace Attorney, whether it be actual canon or not.

And I sure love me some Edgey.
(...which sounds gross in retrospect)

Hmm, I would've liked to be able to throw Snackoo's at people. Oh well, I can be the awesome Edgeworth instead.

You can't replicate a point and click interface with a gamepad? Someone might want to tell TellTale about this astonishing fact.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the series, but I don't see the logic that says the games, in past or future installments, cannot be played on a system without a touch screen. In addition, keep in mind that the first three iterations were all designed for a system with a single screen, and less buttons than the SNES controller had.

I've heard more solid arguments from Winston Payne.

It's certainly possible, yes. And if a game is good enough, I'm not going to gripe too much if the interface isn't touch-enabled. But touch control for a game like Phoenix Wright is like having power steering in your car. Yeah, the car can still run without it, but once you lose it, you'll never want to be without it again.

I agree with Trip, the Ace Attorney Series can work on other platforms (PC, iPhone/iPod Touch) but AA is at it's best on the DS. It's rather nice to keep your Court Record/Organizer separate from the action on the top screen, it makes the game much more cleaner. I played the Japanese GBA version and after being meant to the DS, it is difficult to go back to a single screen.

I hope this lives up to the orignal (excellent) series. Can we have another straight up Phoenix Wright sequel please?!

I am also glad it is staying where it belongs; on the DS.
And it would have been cool to have Ema, Trucy, and Herr Forehead in this one but who can say no to Edgeworth?
