No no, I didn't mean no export was announced or anything. I meant if there isn't any export into RB2 I don't think I'll buy it unless they've saved anything new to feature later.
But since nobody has even mentioned in export yet... its got me worried.

There is no export of songs from RB1 RB2 into Lego Rock Band. Just like there isn't any for the Beatles.
The reason: Lego is kid friendly. They don't want violent music or songs with drug references, etc.. playable with Lego. Brand protection and all that.

The reason it would be hated is because Activision would price it at $200 for the game, a overpriced guitar (most-likely your 5th guitar), a new "slightly improved" drum set that looks like lego pieces, and a mic. Not to mention it would have no improvements over the old games, and will stop working half-way on PS3 since "They need a price cut or we will stop developing." They won't get the memo and develop half of it before saying "fuck it" and walk away. THAT'S why everyone would hate Lego Guitar Hero.

Trailer took way too long to get to the gameplay. Like, just begin with the guy rocking out and blowing the building up, we know that's what you're going for.
Those block-breaking sounds during the song would get on my nerves. I'll be giving this a rent but that's probably it.

My exact quandry. I highly doubt he was liseced for the game, what with Raconteurs being exclusive to *the dark side*, but it would be cool. The customization features seem pretty cool so far. Didn't they announce something along the lines of purchasing a physical figure of your avatar?
