Spore spinoffs for Wii and DS arrive in October

Spore Hero is an action game in which your gross-looking critter searches for creature parts and attempts to save its home from destruction. Spore Hero Arena is a fighting game, in which you fight! It features four-player local multiplayer and one-on-one online play.
Perhaps the most encouraging thing about this announcement is that October is nowhere near Spring 2010. Look at that, two whole games coming out this year.

Well its a great move by Electronic Arts but i think they are more specified and specialist in Sports game so it should concentrate in that stuff rather than dividing itself in other games.................

Didn't EA get the memo? Spore's gameplay sucks, people are only interested in creature creation, which they gave a FREE DEMO for.
About the best they could possibly salvage from the franchise would be DSiWare or WiiWare creature creators at this point.

Way to go EA. Take the only interesting parts out of a game that actually would have appealed to a Wii audience, and turn it into "Mr. Potatohead goes looking for parts." I envision this going really well for you.
