I just saw Love in Vegas this summer and they ended with Hey Jude. It's definitely something people working with Beatles material like to do.

Nope. They're all original studio masters. The vocal and instrument tracks were isolated digitally in the many cases where they either hadn't been recorded separately, or had been mixed down to one track during the original production process. It's pretty amazing, really. I hope this leads to more older tunes from other artists getting the same treatment so they can be included in Rock Band (Chuck Berry, please!). But I have no doubt it's expensive and time consuming to do it right, so less universally marketable songs probably aren't seen as worth the effort.

Someone played the game, and their trophies were visible on the Sony website. Final song was revealed to be The End.

NO IT WASN'T. "The End" was the trophy name. There's plenty references to songs that are not included in the trophy names. Stop misinterpreting or I'll punch you.

i predict either "The End" or "All You Need is Love."
the latter because it's very iconic, and one of the first songs many people think of when they hear "Beatles."

I'm hoping for something other than "The End" to be honest.

We're getting it as DLC anyways once the full Sgt. Pepper's comes out

I liked Sgt. Peppers (Reprise)/The End that McCartney did on the "Back in the US" CD.

Uh.. Sorry, but that rumored setlist in Game Informer is right.... I have my copy. So, no "Hey Jude". No "Strawberry Fields" either. I'm going to have to shell out cash big time for DLC. The missing track is "Boys" in the Cavern Club.

And how can they say that the venue for Get Back is unknown?
Wouldn't it be the rooftop?

While Hey, Jude would be cool I'm hoping for one of the following:
Strawberry Fields Forever
Penny Lane
Norwegian Wood (can't believe this isn't in the game)
A Day in the Life - really, really hoping for that one.

Hey Jude would be awesome, but I think there'd be a problem with instrument balance.

Remember how in Rock Band 1 with Won't Get Fooled Again nobody did anything for like a minute before the song started? It's kind of like that

The intro has a ton of piano with just vocals and I think people would complain that instrument X didn't get enough playing time in the song. It's an amazing song, mind you, I just don't think it would be suitable for a Rock Band game. Otherwise I'd totally be lobbying for Yesterday and Eleanor Rigby.

Personally, I'm hoping for Sexy Sadie as the last song or as future 360 DLC.

Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl but she changes from day to day.
I wanna tell her I love her a lot, but I've gotta get a belly full of wine.

Doesn't The Beatles game feature two songs played as one? (From the Sgt. Pepper album) If so, isn't it possible that the "45th song" is actually just the second part of that combination?

Also, didn't an older talk about how the disc includes a rare track from a Christmas album or something? Could it be that there's some level of requirements that must be fufilled and then this song becomes playable?

Regardless, I know one thing's for sure...the user generated hype for the "final song" is going to leave a LOT of people disappointed.

The two songs played as one are Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and With a Little Help from My Friends and their are counting as 2 on the list.

As said above, i would go for the Abbey Road medley as it puts a end on everything in a glorious way. But being Abbey Road the first DLC confirmed and 5 musics from that album already confirmed to be in the game, i'd say no medley.

Hey Jude or Let it Be are almost automatic bet.

Still not bothering unless they put song export or import in.

I don't mind the Beatles but I couldn't do more than one setlist in a sitting, let me mix these in with the rest of the Rock Band platform or I'm not interested

Unlike other RB and GH games, this game is not about playing through a difficult song. The Beatles are all about the experience - a song export feature would completely bypass the character models, venues, and special effects that make this a Beatles tribute game.

And after I have the Beatles experience, it would be nice to play the songs in setlists with the rest of my Rock Band songs.

Why cant it be both?

Probably licensing on Apple Corps' end, to be honest.

I'm fine with The Beatles having their own game, though. If its any band, it should be them.

I don't see Rock Band as a game about playing difficult songs either, I see it as a 'lets pretend' game about being in a band. Why can't I pretend to be in the Beatles and then pretend to be in the Foo Fighters without changing discs?

The two popular theories floating on the Harmonix messageboards are the final song is either:

1) "The End" - The PSN trophy for beating the last song in the game is named after a lyric from this song. It could just as easily be a pun, because the last song is the end of the game.

2) "A Day in the Life" - People hear a clip of it in the original cinematic trailer, and people have pointed out every song used at some point in that trailer is in the game, except for this song
