Bounce into the LocoRoco Midnight Carnival debut trailer

Only hours after announcing it for Japanese release, Sony has revealed LocoRoco Midnight Carnival for European (and presumably American) release. As Justin correctly predicted, there isn't much to localize when it comes to LocoRoco. Unlike previous LocoRoco releases for PSP, this one will release exclusively through the PlayStation Network. From what we can tell from the trailer, this is a far more arcadey game than the originals, with a stronger emphasis on combos, times and scores. Anyone else reminded of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat?

While Midnight Carnival was originally announced as a "PSP Go game," don't forget that all PSP models, from Phat to 3000 can play all PSN downloadables.

Hey look! A game I can play with my PSP Go! closed!

I feel like the only games that would utilize that feature is Locoroco or Locoroco spinoffs.

You have to use the circle button too, though.

That's why you press down both shoulder buttons to jump.

You have to press the circle button to separate the larger locoroco into smaller locorocos.

Can someone please explain why everyone is calling the fat models "phat"? Am I supposed to wear a red NY yankees cap backwards too?

iDont get the red NY yankees hat joke. but PSPgo is a must for digital downloads. especially with GT:P

What I'm trying to say is, why do they spell it "Phat" instead of "Fat". The red hat thing was a Limp Bizkit reference, who used terms like "phat" and all that rubbish. They were a bunch of asshats who turned every little insecure knobhead on the planet into "skaters" and made sure you could recognize them by their silly little red baseball caps.

that's just been the internet's official term for it. no one knows where it came from, but it's pretty much became it's name.

I personally think it is because "fat" doesn't sound very positive and could be thought of as an insult, but "phat" sounds like fat and means cool!

...Yeah I agree though. It's incredibly lame.
