Ever wonder what Fallout 3's Capital Wasteland would look like set to dramatic music, timelapsed, and shot in super high resolution? Now's your chance to find out! Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has given just such a treatment to the game via the PC iteration, cranked up to 11. (Is that even possible?!)
The idea behind the video is to show what Fallout 3's engine was capable of -- and we think you'll agree that it meets some very impressive results. Check out the full video here ... or go get auto-tuned. Will you take the moral high ground or lounge in the gutter? The choice is yours!

Wow! Pretty, I can run the game at almost full graphics but it doesn't look like that. Impressive, love Fallout 3!

Mods. I've replaced every texture in the game with high res ones. Runs like crap at higher resolutions (their system must be a beast), but it looks good.

Umm, yeah, Fallout 3 is on the PS3, but why is a video of Fallout 3 being played on a PC tagged for PS3? It just doesn't make any sense to me, it's completely unrelated to PS3 and completely focused on the PC version.

Then what does it have to do with the 360 either, and why aren't you bitching about that too?

I think it's for all the Fallout 3 for PS3 owners who are interested in F3 and are interested to see how good it can look.

This isn't even focused on the PC or the PC version... It's simply focused on Fallout 3, which is on PS360 and PC. It is something that Fallout 3 fans might enjoy reading about or seeing, regardless of the platform they play it on. This isn't something you are meant to try yourself, you are just supposed to enjoy something cool that someone has done with the game.
Why is this such a big deal? They post videos of AI Mario scripts on Nintendo.Joystiq, which aren't accessible on Wii or DS, and I don't read people bitching about it. This is the same thing, shut up and enjoy.

Hpow many idiots are going to keep posting about the tags? Jesus Christ, I don't even notice them. I read the title and decide for myself if it is relevant to my interests...

That Windows Dreamscene program could probably do it.

Looks great, but time lapse loses feel when looking at the sky shots because they don't move that much...I think same happens with the water shot. Still awesome looking.

I am so SO glad it wasn't the Requiem for a Dream theme music that is horribly overused. It actually meant I watched it. Amazing vid by the way.

When ever I play fallout 3 or watch videos about it I always think about how screwed up the eastern shore would be. I mean I live about 2 hours away from D.C so I'm pretty sure my home would be just as screwed up if not even more.
It's very sad thinking about how dirty the Wicomico river would be in the fallout universe... Well dirtier than it already is but still.

I just pissed these guys off yesterday asking all about their equipment, then my boss said it was too expensive, so we're using digibeta tapes instead. Sorry guys.
It's a wonderful partnership they have with Eurogamer, somebody in whose interest it actually is to pay for all that bandwidth.

I'm sorry, I must've been up too long because I could've sworn you just said Fallout 3 hasn't released yet. Come again?
