360 avatars better than Home? Yeah right. Home is getting better and better. You can keep your mii avatars to yourself.

I can't make out what he said. All these bats in my batcave are drowning out his Xbox 360 fanboy rants.

I have to agree that Avatars are better than Home at least on the 360, primarily because you see them right when you turn on your system and you see all your friends' Avatars when you go to the Friends bar.
You really feel associated with your Avatar and your friends' Avatars because of this and for me at least, my Avatar and my friends' Avatars on the 360 all look like how we look in real life (not exactly like real life but basically I can tell who is who just by their Avatar, which is very cool).
With the PS3, the requirement to log into Home and go through the stupid updates just to see you Avatar really ruins it for me.

Same here. I just don't like Home. It's not entertaining. My PS3 will remain Home-Free! :P

1:00PM PlayStation Home ... and here we go! According to House, Home has reached 7.5m global users, with 3.3 of them in Europe. House. Home. This is getting confusing.
The average user spends an hour in Home.
I like that this wasn't quantified with time.
It is probably an hour per lifetime.

STFU & GTFO.
Keep trolling and thinking that the PS3 doesn't have software superior to the 360's. Here, everybody watch as he got owned:

Home to me is a huge let down. And it has the potential to be amazing! Right now there is just no reason to use Home. But when it was first announced it was actually a big selling point.
What Home should be is a virtual 3D blog. Blogs are very popular on the internet.. we're on a blog right now... But imagine if each persons personal space was like there own blog where they posted their stats/trophies and personal media. Even like a 3D facebook or myspace! Now that would be HUGE.
As it is, my room in Home is empty and i have no reason to use it... But here is hoping that Home grows into something more!!
Oh and two side notes, i would much rather have shorter load times and better animation than hi-res graphics. Right now the animations and design seems very week and the load times are too long...

I don't visit Home often, but it really needs the moonwalk!

Glad to hear that. I had not been to Home in a few months and came back last weekend. I was impressed to see how much it has grown in that time. It finally looks like what was originally envisioned. The theater with its multiple screening rooms looks great, the presentation space is very good (with the Fat Princess mini game and theme nicely added), and the Buzz space is just hilarious to go into. Had a blast. And the Infamous space was fantastic. Finally the Mall is almost full of stores to go into.
I missed the ARG last time so I am waiting for the next one.
Home is finally the space it was meant to be. Glad to hear it keeps growing.

I think Home would be much better if it didn't require you to break out your credit card for any kind of customization. I haven't been on in a long time so they may have changed it since I last logged in, but I don't see why they can't have a home space that gives you points to spend on customization for watching advertisements. For example, watch a few ads in the Audi space, and get enough points to buy a table, or a hat or something. I don't really want to bother with it if all I have is a lame sofa, and a bubblemaker in my "Home", and I'm not spending my hard earned cash on virtual clothing when I don't buy regular clothing all that often.

they cant possibly add anything to home to make it worth booting up and starting. its really pointless and easy to overlook. every ps3 owner i know has gone on once if that and has hated it. ive gone on to troll for shits and giggles but gave it a fair chance beforehand never the less. its just an overglorified chat room, with a small dash of the sims thrown in for good measure

It takes sooooooo long for the overpriced clothing and stuff to load up. I've tried wading through to find any free stuff, but it just takes too long to see what they have.
Home is considerably more interesting than when it started, and I think it will be worthwhile in time, but the load times just kill me.
