The Sega blog recently uploaded some fresh images from Rebellion's Aliens vs. Predator and they contain all of the items necessary for a good Aliens vs. Predator screenshot post: humans killing aliens; aliens killing humans; and billiards in a smokey bar? Okay, that last one isn't part of the game (it's a promotional thing for the movies in New Zealand, actually), but there's no way we're letting something as awesome as that escape a mention on Joystiq.
Head into the gallery below for the new screens.

I scroll through the headlines but I don't generally have time to get into the comments section. Had to make a comment on AVP though, hope its as good as the PC versions.

Actually the last 3 images were made by a freelance group by the name "Cluster" as part of 3 posters for Sky Digital in New Zealand. I doubt any of them made the game models IMO better artist than the sega ones.

Not Sega, Rebellion
and consider it's a game and not a single rendered image, im not surprised they look better

Of course the stills look better but you can bake the different maps into a low res mesh like the ones in every game and have a better look anyway rebellion is pretty descent and they doing a great job, to me this looks better that any game coming soon.

Not a remake, it's a sequel, rebellion made avp 1, then Monolith, not fox interactive made avp 2, now rebellion are making this new avp game
and if gearbox get their arse in gear, they're making aliens: colonial marines
more aliens games is only a good thing, as long as they are set in the second films universe and not modern day like the films tried (and failed miserably at)

Hope it has co-op. A survival mode with endless Aliens coming at you as Predator or Marines with a timer (ala Left 4 Dead).
