I really think GT5 fanboys should do themselves a favour and buy FM3 and play that for a year.

If you still think you prefer GT5 after a year, so be it, but you'll actually probably really enjoy what Turn 10 are doing, because the Forza series is a lot of fun.

Forza is more like Burnout than Gran Turismo. I played the shit out of Forza MS 2 and it just didn't do it for me in the same way GT does. It's a different more arcade like experience. Stop comparing them because Forza and GT are really nothing alike in the least bit. They are both fun games but it just depends on what you like in a racing game.

I haven't played GT5, but I didn't like powerful RWD cars that wouldn't lift-off oversteer or power oversteer without driving aids on GT4.

Having driven low-powered RWD cars that have rear-end mobility, GT4 not replicating that in high powered cars was a joke. If oversteer has to be tuned into the game, then how is it a simulator? Many cars such as Supras and E46 M3s will power-oversteer from the factory.
