MGS: Peace Walker screens are hiding under a cardboard tank

Coming up with headlines is tough -- except in the case of these new MGS: Peace Walker screens from GamesCom. There are plenty of screens to ogle (ten, to be exact!), but none tug at the heart strings more than the screen you see above. There's something magical about two Snakes running around with cardboard disguises that just ... you'll have to excuse us, we have something in our eye.

I thought you were exaggerating but the MGS screens definitely look more detailed.

Well the reality is that MGS PW does look better than COD MW 2 for the Wii. We're not on a fanboy train, it's just the truth. You need to get off your fanboy train and realize the truth.

Again, I really wish this was on the PS360, rather than the PSP. It looks like the perfect game for splitscreen play. =(

Also, I'm a little concerned about how the camera will control. It was just awful in Portal Ops - lack of a second analog stick FTL.

I was greatly disappointed that this was going to the PSP rather than a main console. I don't know if they will even consider porting it. It looks awesome for a PSP game, but given that MGS4 is one of the best looking games this generation, they may prefer to keep that thought in people's minds and not possibly hurt the perception with a less beautiful game on the PS3.
