The opening translates to:

"ever continue to climb that is the only certainty that I ever at the Leban was"

Ah, i was just about to ask for a translation. Thank you, Storm Eagle.

Anyone else get more of an LBP vibe out of the given style, rather than the Ico vibe that was previously put forth?

Does the logo font remind anyone of the Tower of Druga?

The setting reminds me of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. It's like they took settings from both games (the large bridge leading to the tower from SOTC, and the stone steps and arches from Ico) and mashed them up.

Having said that, the gameplay appears nothing like either game, and I'll have to give it a whirl when it comes out

My translation came out differently.
The opening lines say;

ever continue to climb
that is the only certainty
which was ever I alive

Yeah, I may have mispelled some things in the translator. You get the gist of it though.

I like the fact that it appears that you manipulate the environment with the pointer rather than walking your shadow over to switches to change things. I wonder if this will have a 2 player co-op mode in that vein? Either way, it looks good from what little we've seen. Something new and different.

I like how I took four years of German in high school and could read maybe five words in that trailer. Oh well, at least I'll always have funny words like "umgebung" and "fingertechnik" to spout at random for the rest of my life.

As a member of ze krautish heritage, I shall tranzlate zis for you (basically it's the usual bad advertising speech, so bear with me):

Just climb!
That's the only assurance
that I've ever been alive.

A boy made of shadows
can only travel in the cover of darkness.

Imaginative puzzles and secrets.
Find your way through light and shadow.

Exciting riddles in your adventure
will wait for you.

Can you climb to the top of the tower?

Ugh why can't I view these videos on my iPhone? Any idea anyone??

All I see where the video should be is blue Lego block with a "?" on the side. =/

Video player uses Flash. iPhone does not support Flash.

The only flash videos you can watch are youtube videos, because they iPhone has a separate app for that.

thats a clever looking little platformer. have to say im quite pleased that developers are starting to get back into the swing of things and bring back classic gameplay like this with such interesting twists and novel ideas thrown in for good measure :D

Am I the only one getting more of a Braid vibe than Ico or Colossus?

Obviously not much is known about the game yet, but I think it'd be neat if the time of day affected how you solve the platforming puzzles. What I mean is, as the sun moves according to the time (maybe like a time limit?), the shadows move, elongate, and/or shorten accordingly, affecting the way you decide to move or traverse the terrain.

Just a thought.

the independant games scene has been experimenting with games revolving around shadows. Rather than jumping on physical things you platform on the boxes. Mystery is solved. It mario's shadow looking for some analogy of his true self.
