New Diablo III media features Monk, deserts

All of the locales in these shots show off a desert environment; could Lut Gholein and its surrounding areas make a return in Diablo 3? Let's hope so, this time sans annoying Horadric Staff gopher quests. You know what we're saying, right? Right, guys?

If it hasn't been stated already, the city of Caldeum is in a desert-like environment. A good half of Sanctuary is an arid wasteland.

Furthermore, on the official website, Blizzard has divulged new information pertaining to a location simply known as the Borderlands, the "wastes around Caldeum". This is the Lut Gholein-esque environment seen in the Monk video.

coming from someone who played the hell out of diablo 2, im not that impressed with the monk game play video. looks, well boring and kinda cheap heh. The final class will be a ranged class, and at this point wouldn't be surprised if its a pirate ugh. I personally think the monk should have been more paladin esque. But this game is still a must have in 2020 when its released.

The only way that could be better is if he actually did the scream from Fist of the North Star. Well maybe if the whole game went slow-motion and they zoomed in on him Fallout 3 VATS style so that we could really enjoy the whole ATATATATATATATATA action.
