Producer: Lords of Shadow was always a Castlevania title (also: new trailer!)

Yes, I'd buy virtually any 2D Castlevania title. I don't have a DS, and don't really want one, so I've missed out on quite a few of the more recent ones. I even bought SotN just to show my support for the 2D versions of the game on newer consoles.

I just don't see how they can possibly think anyone really wants a 3D Castlevania title over another well done 2D title.

And Kratos bursts in and says ´first Dante, now you. Would you guys quit f**king riping off my game!!!!´ I mean seriously if you changed the picture and the title in front of the boxes to God of war and showed the game to someone who wants god of war and easily rip them off. l mean seriously did they just stand in front of the God of war 3 booth at e3 and just copy everything they saw kratos do?

i dont buy that for a god damn second, still might be good though but at the same time im woried...patrick stewarts smooth voice will really help though lol...and was that a second mask?...and is dracula being portayed as lucifer now? and not a servant of lucifer?

All i wanted for the past god knows how many years is a new 2-D Symphony of the night sequel on a console. Using sprites that looks like Bazblue or Muramasa. Since the new consoles have so much more power to them imagine how big the bosses could be and the castle could be 3 times as large or even more. This would have so much potential. on a side note this didnt start out as a castlevania game at all. they changed it to be a castlevania game a little bit before E3.

This game had better have some classic Castlevania music, because this soundtrack so far sounds like something out of a Batman movie. it's bad enough this looks to be another God of War clone and that the series has lost its more unique design now that Konami seems to have black balled Koji Igarashi. I prefer Eastern designs over Western as the Japanese tend to experiment more and are not afraid to have intricate designs, colors and varried areas.

Where as when a Western developer makes something these rules apply: 1. It must use the UE3 engine 2. If UE3 is not possible then the color palette must consist of grey, black, gunmetal, browish red and silver and gold,all other colors must be muted 3. All the monsters MUST look like they are from Lord of the Rings or Dungeons and Dragons (because those were SO great).
also each enemy must be filled with 10X more blood then the average real world equivilent (Zombies body = Elephants body blood ammount)

The story must have at least one sex scene, and the game must use the word F**K in various tones at least every third sentence during the dialog. The game must have guns where possible, (but TRY and make it possible) and online multi-player because nothing says "must have game" like being able to be called a F**king d**k eating fa**ot by a 13 yr old.

Naturally there are some exceptions to those rules (Insomniac, Naughty Dog, some of EA's internal teams, Bungie) but not many.

Okay... This game looks fucking epic.
