BlizzCon and
GamesCom are both going on this weekend and the news isn't stopping. Feel free to keep checking in with us for lots more content over the s-days. What's everyone playing?
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): At GamesCom and hoping I'll finally get to play some stuff over the weekend -- been in meetings and sessions for four days. Still have some more meetings tomorrow, but at least my iCal doesn't look like a giant block of text anymore.
- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): I am unashamed to admit that I am playing GRIN's (RIP) Wanted: Weapons of Fate. I am also unashamed to admit that I think it is great. It could've used a bit more polish, but the action is terrific. It's a very short game, so definitely a rental (or cheap purchase) rather than a full $60.
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): GameFly kindly delivered Retro Game Challenge for my DS, making the bathroom an exciting place to go once again. With any luck, I'll get a chance to play through Shadow Complex a second time and finally finish Prototype.
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): What's this? Batman: Arkhum Asylum? I'm afraid I'll be unable to do much more than play Batman all day long!
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I've got a pretty full plate. Nintendo sent me Metroid Prime Trilogy, so I want to make some time for that, and I also want to finish Shadow Complex. On the backburner, I'm nearing the end of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows and made a dent in Red Faction: Guerrilla. Oh, and I've been having this hankering to go back through Mass Effect.
- Dustin Burg (@SuperDunner): Playing the game of life and (if there's time) Shadow Complex.
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): My recent purchase of a PS3 headset has rekindled my love of LittleBigPlanet. I still wish there was a better way of sorting through the levels, however -- I'm having an awfully hard time separating the wheat (The Dream-Jar Peddler) from the chaff (Butt Cannon 2: Revenge of the Butt Cannon).
- James Ransom-Wiley: The Batman ... demo. Again. And again. And again.
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'll be suffering like G did in House of the Dead: Overkill. I'd make a joke more relevant to that game instead of House of the Dead 2, but I haven't played it yet!

- Kevin Kelly (@gadgetguy): I'll be playing Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, and whatever the WoW expansion ends up being *cough* Cataclysm? *cough*. It's BlizzCon!
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): At least the vice-president is safe!
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I like the sound of playing through Shadow Complex once on my own, then going back again and using Xav's guide to find, well ... everything. However, there's a still-sealed copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy staring at me that might just have a problem with that.
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM): I'll be playing plenty of Shadow Complex, some Fallout 3, and hopefully actually finishing a multiplayer match in the Section 8 demo without getting booted back to the menu.
- Xav de Matos (@Xav): I'm playing through Mass Effect and (if it arrives) inFamous. Apparently I am unaware of today's date or any current releases.
