If your in Canada - don't get too excited as this service is not available for us at launch in December. And if you read through the US playstation blog, it doesn't sound like its going to be available for quite some time - if ever. And Sony wonders why people install CFW on their systems.

Lack of current issues is BS. $2 does sound pricey, but it's half what they're charging for the hard copies. Those are overpriced to begin with, though. I don't see myself spending money on this, not that they would allow me to anyway since I'm Canadian. The smaller PSP Go screen won't do this service any favours, it's already gonna look kinda small on a regular PSP.

@ Squibmacbooth

There is an app called ComicZeal. Supports .cbr files, too.

...and before anyone bitches, I buy/own the comics I download.

I really like the loook of this, even thou in England we will probably get screwed over the pricing of the comics. My only thought is if you can remap the buttons. As im thinking of getting a PSPGO, I would prefer the autoflow to be the shoulder buttons that way I dont have to have the unit open to read the comics, which imo would be better.

Excellent point, maybe there will be an optional control configuration for that. If not, they really screwed the pooch.

Back issues and graphic novels are a must. I really like this idea.

I've said it before and will say it again: $2 IS TOO MUCH!!!
If they set it as $1 and have new releases they will be connecting a tube straight from my bank account... I will buy everything I'm even mildly interested in, read it on PSP and then get the stuff I want to "own" when it comes out in trade.

At $2... why would ANYONE want to buy 6-year-old floppies when one could get a trade for $10-$20?!

the comic book people are being foolish.

2$ for a digital comic is rape. as it stands 2.99+ for a print comic is absurd especially with the existence of torrents. offering digital comics is just a no brainer when the internet already does it for you for 0 profit. comic companies should offer their digital comics at .25cents. if they did they could chip into the numbers of people who steal online comics and pay 0$ and the readers at barne's and noble who pay 0$. the people that buy their books in comic stores would still do so because some people like the physical book. for those who might choose to say screw it i'll just buy online they would probably spend just as much online as they did in store. the only potential loser is the comic shop owner. marvel's profits would increase with a new user base ,and the decreased price point would allow buyers to maximize their purchase for their money. at .25 cents you could get 20 digital comics for $5.00 much like shonen jump. imagine being able to buy 10 comics for $2.50. people that say .25 is stupid are being silly. music sells for .99 on itunes. a song costs way more to produce than a single comic, yet the music industry is willing to compromise. the comic industry is losing billions of dollars by not having a cheap digital alternative to print comics.
