Yes. It's an adventure game. Though it has nothing on Snatcher or Maniac Mansion.

If by excrements you mean your comment, then, yes.

I always thought forcing you to buy the whole season kind of defeated the purpose of it being an episodic game.

THANK YOU! I find it pretty ridiculous that we're days away from the second episode and only NOW does the option of a single episode purchase present itself. I know everyone thinks you're supposed to take it on faith that Monkey Island is good, but what if you didn't like the originals or the new Sam & Max episodes? Your instinct is to try this, but not at a $35 buy in.

Sheppy there's one flaw in your argument and that's that everyone loves the original Monkey Islands.

As long as you don't count 4 in that.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy from D2D, Steam, or directly from Telltale?

it's cheaper if you buy the full season, which is the incentive to just buy the full season right away.

This is awesome, don't get me wrong everyone needs the whole thing but this is great for those of us who don't always have that much money on hand at once. You can pay a little, play a little, etc.

I thought you could get each one individually on Telltale as well.

Nope, bundle only. If you're gonna buy the season though... best to get them directly from TellTale, as at the end of the season you can get the whole shebang on DVD for just S&H.

The real point to episodic releases is for the game company to get returns on their work sooner, this is a big help to small companies who don't have the starting capital to wait until a game is completely finished before they can start making money.

Buying the full season helps ensure the game actually gets finished, while the taking a small risk whether the content you've paid for will still be given to you in the future or not.
