can't wait for this game.. should be good.. she has a nice voice for games haha
DeepFriedSushi @ Aug 25th 2009 4:58AM
kristen bell is great but this guy fucking sucks as a voice actor.
Ridgecity @ Aug 25th 2009 1:24PM
she's also the secret blogger in Gossip Girl.
Mayne @ Aug 25th 2009 3:22AM
That design for the "Cora" character is just annoyingly cliche and out of place. Everything else in that movie/game is a faithful throwback to the retro 50s look of the original—Cora is a contemporary, scenester design with fully textured hair. Doesn't really make sense.
But I'm still interested in the movie. Probably going to pass on the game.
Tunguska @ Aug 25th 2009 3:35AM
I hate to pick on people as there might be a language or culture barrier but if your going to come to message boards hawking your POS website at least get it right.
Now, for some strange reason I really want to play that Green Slime Level.
Fido @ Aug 25th 2009 3:46AM
Who are you to tell me i'll do whatever i want to and if i have written something wrong grammatically.... so prove it!!
arkweld @ Aug 25th 2009 3:50AM
I think you'll find that you can't do whatever you want. That's why there's an exclamation point next to every post.
Fido @ Aug 25th 2009 4:03AM
I said just prove!! my objective is to convey me thoughts to others which i did...any ways thanks for reading my comments buddy...........
rowdyone @ Aug 25th 2009 4:03AM
Hmm if the game is anything like Astro Boy for the GBA, I'm in!!!
Cause, you know Astro Boy for GBA kicked ass.
NukeAssault @ Aug 25th 2009 4:27AM
I actually recently found a copy in my house (was probably my bro's) and i must say. Its quite good.
bVork @ Aug 25th 2009 4:37AM
It's very clear that High Voltage is patterning their game after that incredible GBA title. I doubt it'll be as good, but their hearts are definitely in the right place.
captainprotonx @ Aug 25th 2009 9:21AM
Astro Boy for the GBA was developed with Treasure's assistance.
No-one does a game like Treasure.
No Treasure = No Fun.
Ryan Hamilton @ Aug 25th 2009 4:09AM
Why does every remake have to have modern hip lingo to relate to the tweens? Just write a good story with good dialogue.
Level 5 @ Aug 25th 2009 5:08AM
Simple. Because it makes money. I'm on your side man, it's absolutely shitty; but the fact is it brings in the ducketts.
Leroy_Octopus [Planeteer: Power of Asian Disability] @ Aug 25th 2009 5:14AM
Actually, they tried to modernize Astro Boy in 2003, and it didn't make much money at all.
Ridgecity @ Aug 25th 2009 1:29PM
Because it's aimed at young people first. You rather they were using actual 60s commentary?
"That Astroboy robot is so cherry!"
"But he was bulit in the 50s! he's already a daddy-o!"
ThornedVenom (of the Fidlious Clan of Wong) @ Aug 25th 2009 4:44AM
Such enthusiasm.
Justin @ Aug 25th 2009 4:55AM
Anyone remember in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" when Kristen Bell's character complained that her career was over because she was only getting shitty roles or no roles at all?
Petebot330 @ Aug 25th 2009 9:10AM
No, but I remember the part where she pretended to have loud sex.
PR0F3TA (PSN - PROPHETA) @ Aug 25th 2009 5:18AM
they sure did turn her into a real bitch in Heroes, to be fair though, the whole show in general became one big joke
Leroy_Octopus [Planeteer: Power of Asian Disability] @ Aug 25th 2009 5:28AM
I thought her and Sylar were the only decent parts of Heroes the past couple years. Then they went and killed her.
Snowblind @ Aug 25th 2009 5:55AM
Killing off Ele killed the show for me. I can't believe they did that, and yet still made us suffer through Claires highschool drama. Was she really the more popular character..?
Leroy_Octopus [Planeteer: Power of Asian Disability] @ Aug 25th 2009 6:59AM
I tuned in at the end of the season and they had that ice chick turn into some kind of water elemental thing, so I don't think I'll be watching it again.
Gibbeynator @ Aug 25th 2009 7:32AM
Whereas I can barely wait for the next season. Robert Knepper and Ray Park as carnies? AWESOME.
phobic99 @ Aug 25th 2009 7:38AM
Wait, Robert Knepper is going to be in the next season of Heroes? And to think I was getting tired of this show...
He's awesome!
Dijkie @ Aug 25th 2009 9:19AM
Agreed. Robert Knepper is an AWESOME actor.
Mr Mobius - the wandering artist @ Aug 25th 2009 9:40AM
One of the best parts of Season 4 of Prison Break. Though not great competition there - how did it go from Season 1 and the amazing storyline to Season 4 and it's CSI/24etc rip off?
Doctor John Smith @ Aug 26th 2009 1:03AM
I remember reading an interview, or possibly one of the creator's blogs, about the decision to kill off Elle's character. It basically went like this:
Bell had to leave the show for a little bit to work on other commitments. They could either write her out for the rest of the season, and leave it open to come back later, or kill off one of the most popular characters on the show in an attempt to bow down to NBC's continued pressure to go for higher ratings stunts. They chose the latter.
And that's when I stopped watching Heroes.
Dijkie @ Aug 25th 2009 6:19AM
Kristen Bell is hawt!
Young_Nastyman (a.k.a. Thor von Clemson) @ Aug 25th 2009 9:16AM
Schwing!
Obie @ Aug 25th 2009 10:13AM
She was great in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", especially in the deleted "horse scene"....
....don't go there guys. Just...don't.
Gnoll @ Aug 25th 2009 8:01AM
Excuse me joystiq, but I will always remember Kristen Bell as Mary Lane in Reefer Madness, so don't put words into my mouth.
On top of that, I saw the Astro Boy movie trailer and it looked terrible, so I don't have high hopes for a game.
Deaddy @ Aug 25th 2009 8:49AM
I love her. That british kid sounds like a shitty voice actor, though.
R.U.Sirius @ Aug 25th 2009 9:36AM
Everyone should remember her from Reefer Madness. Now there she was cute.
Obie @ Aug 25th 2009 11:03AM
Holy crap! You're right!, never saw that one before!

Mr Mobius - the wandering artist @ Aug 25th 2009 9:50AM
Elle was one of the better characters in Heroes. It was disappointing to lose her just as she was becoming likeable.
Bobs @ Aug 25th 2009 10:15AM
She can be an "edgy girl" around me any day
shadowhowl1900 @ Aug 25th 2009 10:40AM
holy crap, they gave astro boy a shirt
Jrod @ Aug 25th 2009 11:54AM
I wish Kristen Bell was back on Heroes. Elle Bishop was my favorite character on the show.
Xlr0 @ Aug 25th 2009 12:20PM
Freddy highmore as a voice actor? I no longer have any reason to live.
Storm Eagle [Resident Capcom Megafan] @ Aug 25th 2009 12:37PM
You guys should see Kristen Bell in the movie Fanboys. Soooo hot. And she even dresses up in the Princess Leia slave outfit....talk about nerd love!
ChromeAlchemist @ Aug 25th 2009 2:03PM
I'm watching that in the next hour. I'm not even lying, that sold it to me.
Maxx the Slash @ Aug 26th 2009 1:09PM
The game looks like it plays very similarly to Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Gameboy Advance. If so, then this new Astro Boy game will be very good.
