If there's one thing we've learned about video games marketing we've learned here at Joystiq, it's that most game designers and PR firms assume that the average gamer loves the idea of attractive women with swords (and zombies, if possible). Enter WET, a game featuring an attractive woman with a sword and guns and bullet-time. Thankfully, based on our time with the game, it does more than simply play on the attractions of the male gamer stereotype, it's actually pretty fun.
If taking control of sword-wielding, gun-toting, bullet time-using female badass sounds like your cup of tea, you'll be happy to know that a demo is now available on Xbox Live. Go get it.

I think not after all those annoying spam adverts they did on Joystiq.

I'm quite impressed by this. Basically, this is a combo of Stranglehold + Tarantino's Grindhouse feature! It's silly, it's over-the-top but its fun! There's also a small segment that reminds me of Killer 7. Will be a fun rental.

Would it be out of line to ask for the Joystiq'r posting these things to put a link to the marketplace? You guys know you can do that, right?

Both the image and the source link do exactly that.

Great title Richard. I cued up the demo. I'm rather skeptical of this game but I'm a fan of the studio and Eliza so I'm looking to be surprised.

I played it and liked it but not enough to buy at full price. Most likely will rent and if don't get around to renting it and find it for 30 or under eventually I'll get it for that price. The grainy started to annoy me towards the end of the demo though.
