They are trying to make MS and Sony switch to motion controls and right when they do, BAM! they hit the market with a super powerful system called the uberNES. then we will get to see uber Mario, Link with the uber sword, Samus in a uber suit(read no suit) and CoD:Uber warfare

The table tennis has the same annoyance as Wii Tennis, where the computer decides whether you're going to hit a forehand or a backhand and moves to a spot, then you have to adapt to its wishes. Just like in Wii Tennis you can also just hit the ball the wrong way (backhand when the on-screen is forehand or vice-versa) and it'll work, but it totally blows the feeling that you're in control.

Actually, in the table tennis you control if you will do backhand or forehand... Not sure why it wouldn't work for you :-/

No, I can set up for a backhand or forehand, but my character moves to the position to return it on his own. Like I said, it will work if you do it the wrong way, but since you don't get to choose, you can't pick your angle. You basically have to watch where the character is moving to and then pick the forehand or backhand that will be most advantageous from that position. Instead of picking the one you want and moving to that position.

@why: It's different from Wii Tennis; in that it usually didn't much matter whether you did backhand or forehand (the game probably couldn't tell). In table tennis it really matters because if you do the wrong one, it usually goes out. but yes agreed that you can't choose it... *shrugs*... personally I suck at the game, for whatever reason. (Love swordfighting though.)

Well, it's the best mini game collection since Wii Sports, but honestly, I'm already very tired of it. I think the idea of mini game collections is already worn off on me. I used to love Super Monkey Ball 2 (monkey target, monkey boxing) and Wario Ware and I think since I started on minigames sooner then average, I got tired of minigames sooner than average.
Okay, N, I'm ready for the next big paradigm shift. Bring it on.

Can someone ban tmacairjordan87 please? He shouldn't be allowed on Nintendo Joystiq, but he sure as heck belongs on the Sony or Microsoft sites. Seriously, can't he say ANYTHING good about the Wii or Nintendo in general? I didn't think so either.

Wii is a lame duck with a ton of shovelware. This game is a perfect example of the crap that Wii has to offer. Can't wait for Wii Walk! Followed by the oh so epic Wii Run!! Shit maybe after that they'll make a rope attachment for the controller charge 120$ for it and pair it with Wii Jumprope...
And as for Nintendo, you have to be blind(or a fanboy) not to see what money grubbing con artists they are...
