And there will be a night/day system where their skin glistens when it's twilight?

Westwood used Tiberian (Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun).
EA used Tiberium Wars.

I mean the post.

Joystiq have four "zingers" about the subtitle that all use "Tiberium" when the subtitle is "Tiberian."

@DeepFriedSushi
"they screwed up at some point and now they use them interchangeably."

Tiberium is the substance, Tiberian is a descriptive term, like fishy when compared to fish. As far as titles go, it should probably be Tiberian, but it doesn't really matter. Besides, AFAIK westwood never officially called the original C&C Tiberian Dawn, it's just what it's usually called in the community (presumably due to Tiberian Sun and to differentiate it from RA, and Gens if you count that as C&C - I don't, but it's still a great game). I might be wrong though.

Sorry if I'm rambling a bit, I'm feeling a little ill, so I'm not what you might call lucid. *hopes it isn't swine flu*

"Tiberium Twilight? Wouldn't 'The Newest Command and Conquer Until Around Six Months From Now When We Release Another' have been more accurate?"

Thank you - I can't keep track of them anymore.

Uhhhhh...

1995 - Command & Conquer
1996 - Command & Conquer: Red Alert
1999 - Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun
2000 - Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
2002 - Command & Conquer: Renegade
2003 - Command & Conquer: Generals
2007 - Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
2008 - Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
2010 - Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight

You must be referring to the expansion packs that are released about 6-8 months after the initial release per game.

Why? Us old C&C fans always thought the third one was going to be name Tiberian Twilight. I'm glad it wasn't since it wasn't the end. It's a fitting name since the first two games in the series were named Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun.

Well, I was singling out the brain-dead ones. I used to be in the C&C modding community. It's what I remember best when I left: Absolute hatred for anything to do with EA, regardless of prior community opinion. Maybe they've gotten better since C&C 3 was announced, though.

I wish I could downvote the whole post just for #3. I appreciate a good joke as much as the next person, but this time you've gone too far.

Am I the only one who thought Tiberium Wars looked promising? I'm not an RTS fan, aside from Age of Empires 1 & 2, so idk anything about C&C. I thought the gameplay of the alpha looked awesome and the weapons were very cool.

What do you meen looked promising? Did you think it looked good but never play it or something? Or are you maybe talking about C&C4? If you did meen C&C4 then I dunno. It basically looks like a Minor graphics upgrade to C&C3 with dumbed down gameplay, but then they havn't shown much yet
