aww, no love for the Amiga version? I think that was even bundled with the system at one point. My friend had an Amiga and, at the time, we liked the game... we were kids so it probably was crap really, but.

(Here's a screen, well sort of two actually: http://www.emunova.net/img/tests/817.jpg )

I had the old Lynx version. I loved my Atari Lynx, but most of the games sucked. The Batman Returns game was EXTREMELY hard, and I beat it once. It took me many hours to do so.

I should pull out the old Lynx. I wonder if it still works?

Yeah, most of the batman videogames sucks. But there was one or a couple of batman vidgame that was good, I think it was in the Famicom system (NES). I have only seen Batman Arkham Asylum, I have to say it looks good and the gameplay looks cool too. Hopefully it's not a disappointment.

Now, I forget... was "Dark Tommorrow" the one where you fought against Mr. Freeze briefly, only to get stuck with an ice block on your legs that you needed to manually chip off with a batarang for like 5 minutes before continuing the game? I actually ended up hitting the reset button on my gamecube the first few times I played it, thinking I somehow managed to keep triggering some horrible endless bug like the negative worlds in Super Mario Brothers.

I liked Batman:Rise of Sin-Tzu. Classic beat-up 'em. It did have a few issues, but all in all good fun if you just want to beat up a couple hundred indistinguishable baddies.

Its true that Batman game and video always gets of the viewers as it s most adventurous crime fighting stuff which Superman can't compare it self to it but its promotion credit goes to Joystiq which really works harder for its advertisement and promoton to let people know about their upcoming games...............

Batman on the NES is one of the most unappreciated games of the era. It's every bit as good as Ninja Gaiden (especially in regards to the distribution of difficulty). It's often infuriating, but still a very solid game.

The scarecrow battle ( at least the first one, not sure if there is more) looks insane.
