After being the first major retailer to release info on the PS3 Slim before Sony itself had announced the system, Amazon Germany is at it again, outing a 250GB Xbox 360 model for 280 euros ($379). An eagle-eyed Engadget tipster spotted the listing, which includes two wireless controllers and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3 in addition to the massively embiggened hard drive.
Since Forza 3 won't be hitting shelves until October 23 in Europe, it stands to reason that this listing represents a deal still a few months off, though Microsoft could very feasibly release this new SKU (sans accessories) earlier. On the subject of new Xbox bundles, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg told us in an interview yesterday that, "I'm sure there will be different offers depending on where you go and what time of the year it is." Looks like we've found at least one bundle so far! We've contacted Microsoft for comment and will update this post when we know more.

Nice, but WiFi is still something that people actually want, Microsoft.

Sold separately, that should be a $300 MS specialty harddrive with infused xbox bits to hold MS bits and bytes.

Where's Nintendo? They're dangerously quiet.

No, they're laughing because the DS and the Wii are still printing more money than Scrooge McDuck ever dreamed of.

My Elite just stopped reading discs two weeks ago. Being ME, I popped it open to clean the drive lense, only to learn that wasn't the problem...
My launch unit died a month before the Elite hit, so I took it as a sign and nabbed the Elite. Now the Elite starts dying and THIS shows up.
Oh well, my friends get my leftover accessories, so it looks like SOMEBODY will be getting a 120GB drive for xmas.

I believe everyone is forgetting the 250GB PS3 Slim.
Remember? Ya know, that PS3 that probably will have the same type of bundle, but better value?

This is ridiculous, the arcade should be done away with or offered at 49.99. The Pro should be 99.99 and the Elite should be 149.99 + WiFi + bluray.
MS has the money wtf at shafting the fans!

TBH the arcade processor+GPU alone are worth way more than $50. Whats a 3.2 ghz dual core processor run you these days? And the 360 processor is a triple core...

What the hell? I don't know if you're being serious or seriously trolling. 50 bucks for an Arcade? Should Nintendo just be sending Wiis in the mail then? How about PS2s? Should every child get one at birth?
Seriously, your comment makes no sense and I'm assuming I'm feeding a troll.

So does this mean that Sony will release that 250GB Slim with GT5 bundled? That would likely crush a Forza bundle.

If Sony ever read your comment, they would be laughing at you.

All this does is further illustrate how berserk the HDD pricing is for the 360. I stuck a 320 gig drive in my PS3 for $75. I paid $100 for the 60 GB live starter pack. Robbery I say! Robbery!

Guys, this won't be 399 US$, not eve those 379 US$. Prices in Germany already include 19% taxes. Remove those 19%, convert it to US$ and you'll end up at pretty exact 225 US$. American retail prices do not include taxes, right?

The link to amazon.de is dead and a manual search for this SKU does not yield any results. Looks like it has been pulled. Time for an update maybe?

There's no way in hell MS will charge only 280 EUR for this bundle. With the 360 Elite price lowered to 250 EUR recently, it wouldn't make sense for them to offer a console with much more space, a brand new game, and an extra controller for just 30 EUR more. No way. I think they will charge at (the very) least 300 EUR for this bundle.
