Surprising since EA has chosen to gimp the PS3!!
This cross-game voice chat is an outrage!!!

the lack of, that is.

I would recommend everyone boycott EA but most of their games are low on quality & high on crap as it is.

I guess you haven't heard the latest word: EA is now Public PS3 Enemy #1.

1943 is now my last EA purchase... at least until they publicly state that they are 100% behind any PS3 Firmware feature upgrade (cross-game voice chat) & wouldn't dare sue.

And there isn't credibility in responses to the rumor he made from EA's vice president of corporate communications and Sony's senior director corporate communications?

Big deal that he knew when there was going to be a firmware update that doesn't mean he doesn't make shit up for fun after gaining some "credibility". I'll stick with the announcements from these two and not listen to some random poster on a forum.

Just because you're in love with a game company doesn't mean you should ignore the bad press. When he posted Slim info & called the firmware updates, everyone was glad to accept but no, not when it comes to EA.

I'd rather have innovative features than the same repetitive garbage EA manages to sell.

Sony could have saved themselves the trouble and just put a card with a big "FUCK YOU" written on it instead of this crap... It would have conveyed the same message to the US consumers...

I presume you want GT for free instead of this with your PSP go?

Well okay, lets do that, lets also match our price to the UK price, so $400 for the PSP go. Now you can have GT for "free". Isn't that MUCH better?

Personally I'd rather pay $250 for PSP go, buy some RB DLC, GT on the PSP, and 3-4 other PSN games, FOR UNDER $400.

Much better than the "Deal" they get over there. They don't deserve the higher price, but its not a DEAL for them.

The reason why consoles are expensive in Europe is because of their ridiculous taxes! Sony isn't making a bigger profit by selling the Go for 230 euros (or whatever the price is)...

I would have honestly preferred that the Go came with nothing instead of this POS demo...

This is a pretty unusual idea for a game, and I hope it happens some more with demos. Being able to play the DLC for a game without a full purchase may make it a way for people to play a game with friends by buying the DLC and just playing those songs or on those levels (just buy a $10 DLC pack and play on those and only those levels.

Probably won't happen, but it would damn cool if it did.

The real question is: can you play more than half of a song with this version of the demo? Weak sauce, HMX.

I don't think they'd let you buy DLC for $1.99 and then only play partway through your purchase - that would create an immense backlash. Of course it will be weird playing just songs I buy for the game instead of continuing the tour mode from when I rented the game.

Another idea would be to actually allow people to buy any of the songs from the game off PSN for the same price as DLC so I can only pick songs I like to get, though I'd miss out on the personal touches like having my band, earning money, and getting more fans.

I dont get how they think anyone would buy the DLC and NOT buy the game it actually goes to. this is like asking you to buy a container of mil one glass at a time and telling you to buy the jug later. Ridiculous.

This still is disappointing compared to what EU gets. Honestly, this is no incentive to buy a PSP Go. When it was first announced I was looking forward to it, but thinking now, $250 is just a huge rip-off for a system that brings nothing new to the table.

Maybe if it had a touch screen for use with the XMB, so you could play music, watch videos, go on the PS Store, etc...without even having to open it. That would be awesome, maybe even worth $250. A camera wouldn't hurt either...

Man i LOVE my new psp 2000, for a decent price and ok it isn't BRAND NEW, but i have no idea why the go is so expensive. i don't even appreciate the new design, its too high end tech and i don't see where all that extra money went.

Honestly, I agree that I want one, but seriously, the PSP Go comes with a lot of stuff. 16 GB Expandable Memory, new design, built-in mic (I think), Bluetooth support, the fact that you no longer need to carry UMD's, and a whole lot more. And why are you guys complaining so much? If you can't afford it, you can't afford it.

Disgusting. Just give voucher codes or free access to the game on PSN for people who bought the GO. EU's getting GT w/ theirs GO's.. importing isn't in question since shipping fees will makeup for not paying for GT... lol

EU is also paying $400 for their PSPGo compared to our $250.
RB:U deal is actually quite good, its the game, just with very few songs, that supports DLC. That way you can build the song library how you want it, instead of whatever they decide to put on disc.
