Impressive: Star Wars: The Old Republic's Sith Warrior class detailed
33
If pale white skin and sulking over lost love sounds like your cup of tea, then you'll likely identify with the Sith Warrior class in upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. It's the latest class to be revealed, one that "channels the destructive emotions of fear, anger, and hatred to purge weakness from body and mind and become a being of pure, brutal efficiency." Yes, but can he also make julienne fries?

I would still rather have a real KOTOR 3 than this.

Well if we cancel each other out it's all good.
We can't all agree to the same thing can we.

I'd rather have a new Sly Cooper game than a new KOTOR or this mmo.

Yeah would rather have Kotor 3 than this since it plays the same anyway. The vidoc on co-op play is a joke, joytiq is impressed? Must be blinded for their love on the franchise.

You can dual wield. Near the end of the 20 minute gameplay video from gamescom they showed the sith warrior looting the lightsaber of a jedi knight he just killed.

It's slightly annoying to have to mute the 30 second ads that play after each 5 second video in order to watch the next one.
I have to be honest, having ads before the videos is less of a nuisance than a video that automatically plays after the content I give a shit about that can't be paused.

I'd like to be the class there is less of. But at this point I have absolutely no idea since every class seems awesome. Could it be a jedi might be the less played class?

It might be that I just finished watching a Prison Break episode but the sith in the picture really look like Micheal Scofield

I think their desire to stick to the good v. bad might be their own undoing.
This is an action game. What is the point whether you are playing as good or as bad - if in the end you are all about chopping enemies.
Unless of course they would make evil somewhat exceptional and allow it to slaughter everything in sight - including comrades and unborn babies.

Having seen the gameplay videos I lost a lot of interest in this game. I know I know, it was only earlier levels and only a demo at that but it just looked so bland to me. Almost turned based, it seemed so slow at certain points. Maybe I need to give it another look but I like fast paced mmo fighting and this doesn't look to fit my particular needs. It's star wars which is great and it's bioware which is great and it seems like one of those situations where it's like how could this go wrong? I'm still hopeful but I am under the impression that this will be a really good game, just that the combat will not be at all along my preferences. But hey, I love Age of Conan fighting and look how well that game is doing so maybe it's a good thing for bioware I'm not digging it :p. Anyone else feel the same way? Maybe I'll give it a whirl for the story as that is almost guarenteed to be top notch.
But more on topic, I would love to be a sith in this game. I'd roleplay the hell out of it too and choke and zap everything in sight, like a psychotic sith.
