Video previews for Modern Warfare 2 have been few and far, far between -- thus, we could be satisfied with moving pictures of the lowest quality, provided they depict the highly anticipated shooter in action. Footage of just this caliber recently came to us from a Game Crazy employee convention, where a cadre of overjoyed retailers got an early look at one of the game's single-player missions. Someone captured it on camera, and now it waits for your trembling eyes after the jump.
A word of caution: The video shows off a really cool moment from the game that you may want to save till you're the one holding the controller. We won't ruin it for you here, but we'd be remiss if we didn't offer some insightful commentary on said moment: Holy crap! Sweep the leg Johnny!

@JXCgunr Yes, 402 did tweet that about 'Akimbo confirmed'. But he didn't say if that was in single- or multi-player, nor if it's a perk (if it is in MP). mysticjon is right - it's confirmed, yes, but we don't know which game mode(s) the dual wield will be available in.
I am assuming Griffin is talking about the part when they are about to torture the Arms dealer that you shoot in the leg. I would not consider that to be the really cool moment. Personally I found the part at 1:01 when he shoots through the sheet hanging from the window and it ACTUALLY MOVES to be more impressive. It would be awesome if every object in the game had dynamic effects.
You apparently had to shoot the guy running away from you in the legs and capture him. I would not really call that a spoiler or really cool moment though.
Crazy: You are now in the comment section of a gaming blog. We are talking about one of the most anticipated games of the year that we have seen little to nothing about. There was a video leaked of the single player game. FYI, we will all be talking about the game and what was in the video. if you were expecting us to be talking about something else, your logic is pretty messed up.

agreed, there was nothing out of the ordinary here. the last time joystiq warned me about a realllllly cool spoiler was the brumak scene from GOW2... this miserably failed to match that amount of excitement
I was unsure about buying it day one until I played World at War recently. The MP experience blew me away. I have restricted myself to only playing Halo for so long I have totally missed out on a better albeit more frustrating experience. I love the perks and streak advantages.
Is MF2 have any pre-order bonuses at certain locations or cool features for certain systems?
If you were impressed by W@W, you will be amazed by MW2. I am not flaming Treyarch but when you play an IW game, it feels slightly more put together and polished. There are just some little things that you only subconsciously notice that adds to an overall smoother game.
And no, Activision isn't giving anything away for free unless gamestop still has posters left over.
This is proof enough that you need to play CoD4. The community is still huge even after the squeal.
As for the Content in W@W, they did have more quantity than CoD4. I wouldnt say the story was anything real special and the playing cards were like the intel in 4. MW2 will have co-op and tons of new shit in multiplayer where as W@W added very little to multiplayer. I will bet everything i own that W@W will not be floating in the top 3 spots on xbox this time next year like CoD4 has been for a year and a half
