Wet is a lot like Stranglehold, only it has a considerably better soundtrack, and it's not as good.

I kind of dug the WET demo when I played it on the 360. It's nothing spectacular, but it was good fun.

dude, Crash Commando update. I don't play it anymore, but I'll gladly give them 5 more bucks and play it for another weekend or two. They deserve every penny for making such a fun game.

We seriously need more PSone classics, especially the J-RPGs that the system was known for (and go for big bucks on eBay).

Final Fantasy 7 is up, along with Suikoden and Wild Arms 1 & 2, but it's not enough. We need FF8 and FF9, along with Xenogears, Chrono Cross and more. It wouldn't hurt to put Persona 1 & 2 up there, either. Square Enix and Atlus need to get on that fast.

I wonder who owns the IP to all of those Working Designs games. I yearn for Lunar 1 & 2 to be released on PSN. Perhaps Ubisoft? They have been releasing the newer (but crappy) Lunar games lately.

i would love to have Tactics ogre as that game is really Rare .. and atlus brought it to us for PS1 but now ... Square Suck owns the company who originally brought the game out to Japan so who makes the decision .. squaresuck or Atlus ?

I would probably rebuy all the PS1s from SE if they released them, just so I can play them on the go. If they released those along with more niche RPGs like Record of Agarest War, I'm going to be very happy (and broke).

@ Elranzer - You forgot Valkyrie Profile. Also, why would it take Song so long to have Legend of Dragoon available.....they own the damn thing lol. And not having a sequels or the mention of such is a big shame on Sony's part...moreso now that the PS3 is starved for good traditional JRPGs.

I thought the WET demo was cool, unrealistic but fun. I didn't expect this game to be realistic but at times you just have to say this is fake, like who can jump cars in a freeway while shooting at the same time, lol. It's good though but I hope bosses are an actual challenge in the full game.

What does the PSN update so late? They should update their stuff on Tuesdays by 12pm Noon.

How is Tuesday any better than Thursday? If it were Tuesday, there would be people like you saying "They should update it on Saturday." And then people would be saying "They should update it on Thursday." Just like it is now.

It's a weekly update. The day of the week doesn't really matter. New content is seven days apart, regardless of the day it is released.

if someone could answer this for me, it'd be much appreciated.

i own a 360 and am thinking of also getting a ps3. i know that PSN is slowly releasing some ps1 titles for download, can anyone tell me about how they play? are they available in hi-def, can you save state, do some titles have online mutiplayer, etc. i'm just curious as to whether or not they didn't anything to make playing the ps1 titles any better.

thanks.

For the most part, they're direct ports. No saving state or online multi.

trophies? i'm addicted to achievements on xbox, and nothing sounds better to me than getting trophies in ff7 for stuff i already would have done anyway (emerald and ruby weapon, gold chocobo, etc.)

no trophies. the draw with them is that they are playable on PSP as well. so you can play FF7 and MGS on the go

Digital PS1 classics's only real improvements over their original counterparts is that you can save without a memory card and you can play them on the go with your PSP.

As for the few PS2 games that had online multiplayer, I think that they are still supported, but don't quote me on that.

But seriously, if you're thinking of buying a PS3, you really should be considering is its awesome line-up, unless you want to miss out on some of the best games made this generation ;P

thanks for the replies. was kind of hoping to see save states and trophies, so for now i think i'll keep emulating on my ps1.

still planning on buying a ps3 though, with the price drop there's no excuse not to.

Everyone else answered about the PS1 games. As for the PS2 online multiplayer games they work perfectly. It all depends if the servers are still up. For example I tried the Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal multiplayer and didn't find anyone else. On the other hand, I found quite a few people on the Killzone servers.

Hope that helps.
