Looks fun. If the price is right, a downloadable RPG is a nice change for the offerings at PSN. I'd probably pay $10 for something like this.

Actually, it's probably 20 hours of gameplay and 80 hours of grinding. Even though this looks like a really good looking PSOne game, I'm still importing this from Europe because I love JRPGs but I hate DLC.
Also, there's no way this game will be $10. It's a retail release in all the other countries so it will be priced the same in the U.S. Probably ~$40 or $50.

If you're right Amos, and this will be $40 or $50, I doubt anyone will download it. As you said, there will probably be a lot of grinding, and with the graphics looking as though they are between the PS1 and PS2, I can't see anyone willing to shell out that kind of money for it.
Let's hope they price it a lot lower, because I'd like to see more of this kind of game on the PSN. I can't remember any PSN games ever being priced at $50. To my knowledge, $30 is the highest they've gone?

Out of the 100Hrs of gameplay, 50 of those are reading dialogues.
So will the game have english voice-overs or just english subtitles??

when i read the title the first title i thought of was " Record Of Lodoss War " for the DreamCast and if this game is anything like that which is NOT the case ... that game was like Diablo .. i loved it .. never did finish it tho.

For those of you interested, there's actually a playable demo on the japanese psn-store. so with a bit of guessing you can kinda get a fell of the game. Tried it about a year ago, I've been hoping for a port ever since ( big Strategic RPG nut )

I was looking for it on Amazon until I continued reading and found that its PSN exclusive. I'm actually really glad, since these niche titles are hard to find and often sell out fast and into higher prices ranges. I'm buying this day one because I like the style and the distribution.

The Japanese demo was about 3 hours long, not surprised the whole thing is that long.
