Australia's PS3 Ultimate Blu-ray Movie Kit is only kind of ultimate

The word "Ultimate" really gets thrown around a bit much in retail circles -- for instance, in our minds, the "Ultimate Blu-ray Movie Kit" would possess every Blu-ray movie ever made, a PS3 Slim, a machine that somehow produced delicious sandwiches, and a date with which to watch the aforementioned films. The date would also have to hate sandwiches, because -- hey, hands off, those are our sandwiches.

Sadly, Australia's recently released "PS3 Ultimate Blu-ray Movie Kit" doesn't include any of those things -- rather, the $60 AUD (or $51 U.S.) bundle only comes with a PS3 remote and two films. Both of the two currently available bundles come with 300, but their second films vary -- one includes 10,000 B.C., while the other comes with Batman Begins. If you're having a hard time choosing between the two, then you should probably get out of our sight and never come back.

Yeah, 300 and Batman are pretty good movies, not perfect, but very enjoyable(to me at least)

I bought 10,000BC for a few pounds, thinking it'd be one of those mindless crappy films to waste a few hours. Seriously, it wasn't worth the money (I paid less than a cup of coffee) or the time. Don't watch it!

10,000 B.C. is good. Batman Begins is ridiculously dull. It has Katie Holmes in it.

I already have Batman Begins on blu ray but I would still buy the BB bundle over the 10,000 BC bundle. Roland Emmerich needs to stop making movies.

10,000 BC was a pretty big letdown. From the original previews I thought it was going to be pretty good but the movie itself wasn't very good. The only thing it had going for it was the special effects. They should have offered something like Apocolypto along with 300 and BD remote.

I got a similar deal around Christmas anyway ... They had the BD version of Hancock and a PS3BD Remote for $20 ... picked that up.

I think it was a OK movie, the 1 that I can't stand is 300...now that's garbage!

I thought it was a PS3 bundle. Movie kit kinda implies that it has everything you need to watch the movie. Maybe not, unless it was bundled with a T.V and your own generator.
