Best Buy offering buy-one-get-one-half-off for 360 games

Last week, Canadians were privy to a fantastic deal, netting them Batman's latest adventure for $40. This week, American gamers are being treated to a buy-one-get-one-half-off promotion at Best Buy on a laundry list of Xbox 360 software. The deal is pretty simple: Purchase one qualifying Xbox 360 title and get a second game (of equal or lesser value) for 50% off. To sweeten the deal Best Buy is even throwing in free shipping for your purchase.

Strangely, the fine print mentions gamers can only select items that are currently in stock, but list Modern Warfare 2 as one of the qualifying titles. Keep in mind that this offer can end at any time, so if you're looking to stock up for the winter season now is as good a time as any.

They still haven't delivered my Batman yet (Bestbuy.ca has the reputation to take 2-3 weeks for deliveries) but i ll think about it for sure.

Your logic confuses me. Are we talking about past exclusives or future ones? Because if it's future, why mention MGS4?

As I recall, LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 are pretty good exclusives.
And in terms of future, you're forgetting that there is a fair amount of hype around Demon's Souls and Gran Turismo.

I've played/completed all of the games shown above. I thought 1/3 was very good. I'll give you a hint, it has lots of blood.

The picture just looks awkward to me. It reminds me of an over-hyped magic trick that ends up being nothing more than a flower appearing under the magician's sleeve.

If it was a deal featuring Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and MGS4, would you be complaining about the lack of PS3 exclusives?

i enjoyed section 8 enough to get it for 25, and i might even pay full price for Wet, i quite enjoyed the demo. Also Dirty; prepare for unforeseen consequences

Both demo's honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. Section 8 just outright sucked ass, it was slow, felt clunky and alot of things didn't make sense. Like the sniper scope for example, it just zoomed in like 5 feet in front of you. What kind of sniper rifle is that? And WET just looked like ass, played like ass and seemed like a quick Kill Bill rip.

Arkham Asylum is absolutely worth the $60, easily the best game released this year so far. Unless Uncharted 2 blows me away, I doubt anything's going to beat it, and that's certainly not going to be quite as diverse as Batman is.

Those all seem like pretty major releases to me. Maybe the typical machismo jackass won't consider Demon's Souls to be a big deal, but overseas it has made a pretty big impact.

demon soul, isnt that the game where you die in 3 hits and have to restart all the way or something brutal like that? Yeah im sure that'll be a huge hit. Lots of things are huge in japan but completely nonexistant in the US, so dont use that as a justification.
